Lite Sentinels Discussion/Training Room

   You enter a colossal arena, specially designed for combat practice. The eerie, bright colors of the wall made of strange, substance, perhaps a form of energy shield, casts odd shadows in vaious places. A storage and briefing/discussion room is located behind a door of similar energy material, and a mental voice key is required to enter.
   A female lite, young by her looks, looks up from her lesson and nods at you, penetrating your very being with cold, calculating eyes. "Come in," she telepaths. Then, she turns back to her students.

Illadriel Heartfelt entered the room and bowed to the female Lite out of respect to a teacher. Then she patiently waited upon everyone else who was coming to the discussion room. Illadriel drew her sword and then began furnishing it with a special, white cloth as she leaned against the back wall.

Another lite, Terrandis Moonriver, strode in, also giving the same respects to the teacher. Having not seen the lite before, he watched from a distance, putting up the pretense of listening to the instruction of the studenta.

Upon noticing Terrandis, Illadriel nodded in his direction in greeting, and accompanied was a calm smile. She then returned to the polishing of her blade.

A young lite, still in training to join the forces but with much potential, noticed the arrival of their leader. Gathering the courage to confront her, he strode up to Illadriel. Bowing low, he spoke, "Greetings, honorable Lady Heartfelt. You grace us with your presence."

Illadriel smiled warmly. Thank you kindly, she thought to him softly. How goes your training? Is it well?

"Fine, thank you for asking." He bowed again. Then, with slight apprehension in his tone, he asked tentatively, "My Lady, if it is not too great a favor to ask - might I test my abilities? I know that I am no match for you, however..."

"Of course," Illadriel replied. "Come." She came to the classroom door and waited for the kind lite there.

Delighted by the response, but trying to maintain a stern composure, the lite followed Illadriel into the room.

Illadriel halted in the midst of the room and smiled gently. "Now, show me what you can do. What are the techniques that you have been practicing? Show me everything you know." She drew her sword elegantly and began slowly executing some smooth poses and flowing forms to demonstrate her following words, "Remember to maintain your focus on not just your opponant, but also to your surroundings. Make peace with yourself and with what's around you. And remember not to be distracted with the enemy's methods of confusing, instead try to find a way to use it as a weapon. Be aware that the sword is an extention of your arm; it is a part of you."
