LOCH LUELFER
Loch Luelfer is a very powerful place, so much so that the small house of Siludar would never be able to hold it were it not for one thing: The Lake is controlled by the mighty dragon Fericlax. The lake itself resembles Avalon in many ways, and indeed could almost rival that place were it not for the fact that most of its traits only function underwater, which severly limits its use to land-dwelling fey.
Its main attraction is not merely that it functions as a gateway, but rather that it is one of the very rare
mobile gateways. About every other month or so the lake connects to a different lake in the mortal realms, all one has to do is dive to the bottom of the lake. Then one returns to the surface, which has suddenly become a different surface.
The surrounding terrain is mountainous and windy, with summer storms permanently hovering on the horizon. The bottom of the lake holds a castle of coral and glass, where the Fey of house Siludar who inhabit the lake dwell. It has rooms filled with air as well as rooms with water, and the House never lets outsiders learn how one enters the castle. Rumours abound of secret tunnels connecting Loch Luelfer with their mountain stronghold.
