Lumhidarthe

We stand for the light...

The Lumhidarthe was the first race of elves created by the gods. They are what most see as "the standard elf". All of the subraces of elves once started as Lumhidarthians, before they were divided in the War of the Races.

Lumhidarthians, like most of the elves of Druin, are slightly shorter than their human counterparts. Their skin tone ranges from a deathly pale, to a light tan. They generally have hair in a shade of blond, whether it be bleach blond, or almost brown. They have the second heaviest build among the subraces of elves, although they are still slighter than humans. Eye color varies, however the most common is blue. Lumhidarthians are one of the two elven races without nightvision, instead having their daysight enhanced greatly. The average lifespan of a Lumhidarthian is half a thousand years.

A creation of light, Lumhidarthians are strongly devoted to their gods, and are willing to give anything for their allegiance. Their laws are strict, and hard to find a loophole in, yet every being follows them out of heart. Although the creator of the elves is Goddess Asteria, true to their name, the Lumhidarthians worship Lumhi before her.

Lumhidarthians are the most flexible among other races. They are willing to interact with different races, so long as they are of the light. They are the most militarily developed of the elves, having not much man power, but making up for it with brilliant battle tactics. They specialize in the use of bows and other forms of ranged combat. However, sorcery is generally disputed out of fear.

Among the other races of elves, the Lumhidarthe are ones of the stars. Their royal family name being "Starlight", and the King being the "Prophet of the Stars". The King also bears the staff of Starlight, a gift from the Goddess Asteria. The most developed of elves, they live in towering spires of crystal.
