I like it a lot.  I think it has great potential. The gargoyle is a great touch. I LOVE the water splash that surrounds it. That feels like the vibe I want. Perfect, even. Now, the idea is that the category finalists should get either a personalized Category Badge, or an 'Elftown Water Fountain Design Contest Finalist', which would require a larger, longer banner. But the royal purple color for it is a nice touch.
For either the 'Most Elegant' or the 'Most Elftown-ish' badges, I think a change of image subject (the goyle) could be changed. Either different or refined (like marble or a fine elven stone or metal) for Most Elegant/Elven Refinement, and maybe something more elven, styled or even cartoony as a subject for the Most Elftownish badge.
I think some gears and mechanics, or even masonry/construction depicted in the background of the 'Best of Engineering/Architecture' would be nice, and maybe a paradise, landscape, scene or image in the background of the 'Best Background' category would also be appropriate.
Any other ideas or submissions will be greatly appreciated, and considered.
