In this rom com, Alex Fletcher (Grant) is a washed-up 80's rock and roll band member, whose old best friend has been knighted and is incredibly famous. Obviously there's a little jealousy there. Sophie Fisher is a bit of an odd ball, but who turns out to be very good at writing lyrics. She and Fletcher meet when she waters in plants (because his regular flower girl is out of town). Fletcher must write a hit single to get to the top of the charts again, and so he and Sophie team up, and end up as a very cute couple.

I have to say, out of all of Barrymore's/Grant's films, this has got to be one of my favorites. It's so amazing! It's definitely a "feel good" sort of movie, but that's not a bad thing I think.

I really, really, really love this movie.
