Personality: She is very bubbly and likes to try and stay as optimistic as possible without losing sight of reality. Its very rare that people see her more than just a little upset. However, when alone she can often be found staring off into the distance, thinking silently to herself. Despite these masked mood swings, she will drop everything she can just to help another, and becomes frustrated when she can't manage it. If anyone angers her or anyone she knows, she is never afraid to start a fight, and nearly always wins.

Appearance: Nichelle is tall and lean, but with plenty of subtle muscle to hold her own. Her skin is much darker than that of most of the Lilies, giving her an air of the exotic, and her tightly curled black hair falls all around her face and down the back of her neck. She doesn't like to stand out too much by her appearance only, and so tends to wear more simple clothing than many of her fellow Lilies. When she must dress for the occasion, she loves golden and dark colors that accentuate her natural beauty.

History: Like most, she was born to a normal large family and has several siblings, none of whom she speaks to any longer. Her mother was unique in her higher empathy for the men in the mines, and often would speak to Nichelle of their conditions, and, despite all society has done, to attempt to respect their work. Nichelle, as a good daughter, listened and did so, and although she did find a subtle fondness for them, she is still somewhat wary of them from the taboo placed by most on speaking with the slaves. As a teenager, she would sometimes sneak away to watch the men work, wondering if any of them were related to her, and even approached them to talk from time to time. Interested in them and their history, she later became a historian and librarian, studying the ways of their society and their meanings.

Other: She likes to spontaneously dance and sing, and usually tries to bring those around her into it as well. Nichelle sometimes doesn't realize others feelings and thoughts right away, but does her best and always holds extreme empathy for those she does. Also, she is occasionally known for bringing different people to bed depending on the night, and does nothing to hide this fact.
