Appearance – Has a light brown hue of hair, considered uncommon in some regions for his sub-race, which was due to him receiving a recessive gene from his parents. He wears a light outfit, consisting of black slack-type pants and a casual dress shirt. He has several standard brown leather belts that wrap around his waist as well as two on each arm, that are interlinked and bound to the sleeves. He has a few small pouches around his waist belts as well as the sheathing case for his wakizashi. Most of his clothed body is also covered in body wrap. (Like the way it is on the Fencer pictures torso.) He has a slightly less pale fleshtone due to having spent a large amount of his life outside where he slowly gained a slight tan naturaly. His eye color is an emerald to forest green tint. He is roughly 5 feet and 11 inches tall. He wears either light-weight normal shoes or sandals. (Again like in the picture of the Fencer.) His hair comes down to about the mid point of his ears, though his bangs vary and can go to the length in which they would be able to touch his upper lip, and his hair is parted in the center. He also wears a sakkat (bamboo hat) that has a small slit in the front.

Personality - Nicholas has always been a rather observant learner throughout his life and has developed an analytical personality as such. He prefers to observe the circumstances and will then take in the elements of a scenario as well as any and all things that might be able to be used at his disposal to come up with a strategy to approach a situation. He rarely goes into a scenario without planning out his actions ahead of time and if he does it most likely means that he has no time to do it or he doesn't have enough information on the situation and will have to learn about it as he goes and make his plans rather improvised. He's not the most talkative person but is still willing to speak his mind if he thinks that it needs to be done and is certainly willing to point out anything from another's flaws or an answer to something that a person is having a difficulty figuring out on their own. He does this primarily because he doesn't think that all situations require one to hold their tongue. Due to the previously mentioned trait he can be mistakingly regarded as either cocky or just blatantly rude, but he is actualy a rather kind person in general and will often set aside his rather serious nature aside to make a demeanor of very gentle and friendly in order to help someone feel better, say from when they get depressed over a failure at something that they were striving for or simply in a scenario where someone is feeling hurt due to an event that was able to affect their emotions well. He is someone that prefers relaxed situation in regular life but is not so inclined to peace that he wouldn't be willing to get involved in a fight of some form, or to initiate one for that matter. He does however have a weakness in his personality that can make him act in a very irregular and specific manner from normal. This is his depression, in which if he manages to become depressed enough his attention tends to go out of use and he will often just become almost oblivious to all things around him, seemingly lifeless to the rest of the world.
History – Nicholas was the fourth of five children that his mother conceived, and the first to survive through birth. His family was rather poor when their father was away serving in a combat operation. Seeing as how the mother had to take care of Nicholas and his sister, Evalyn, she was unable to work a job for income. On top of that fact Nicholas and Evalyn were too young to hold any real job, and even when Nicholas was old enough he needed to remain home to do the manual laboring jobs. Nicholas' sister is now ten years old and is the most important person in his life as of yet, due to her being born mute and ill. He was always trying to help her out as much as he could and wanted to make himself stronger for her since despite being ill as a child and being mute, she was always smiling and never lost the will to keep living. He was raised in a decently sized home out in the woods, where his mother taught him all that she'd learned when she was traveling to different schools, in her earlier years, as an Adept. His father was a Knight and wanted nothing more than for his son to follow in his footsteps, however Nicholas found that being given a heavy weapon, shield and armor as a child of age eleven wasn't quite an enjoyable experience. He couldn't find himself easily adaptive to all the amount of resistance and strain the weight of such training, and so he made an agreement with his father. He would train to be sword wielder like his father but he would do it in a way that he could feel able to manuever and strike with more speed and agility. Nicholas thus began to train as a Fencer when he turned the age of fourteen. It was that point in which Nicholas decided he would train his best to become a guardian to the weak. He would sacrifice the defensive and protective armor of most warriors in return for the ability to dodge an attack and move quickly to put his way in harm of an attack, while removing others from the threat of that harm. When Nicholas turned sixteen his father passed away and so he found himself taking odd jobs to help earn money to help support his remaining family. He found that he would need to do jobs at times that he wouldn't normaly take on and thus found a tolerance to being unalligned to any specific side. This is not to say that he became a person who did a job purely for it's pay and also he still found himself failing to complete certain jobs because his own personal morals wouldn't allow him to complete them. When his sister turned the age of ten she commuted to town to work a small job within a bakery so that Nicholas could continue his training instead of having to sacrifice all of his time supporting her and their mother. Nicholas then decided to leave home inorder to no longer be a burden upon the family income, promising that he would return when he'd become successful as a Fencer. Since then he has been training in the art of the Fencer class and has begun his journey out into the world. Nicholas now finds himself searching for others that hold desires similar to his own so that he might group up with other people and advance and become stronger with company to assist him and be assisted by him.
