An innocent looking house in southern Osvik, inside, a perfectly ordered room with several chairs a cushions, a large, simple wooden table lies in the middle of the house. Two doors lie in the back, one leads to a bathroom and another one to a bedroom. The windows are covered and several gas lamps lighten the room. A large chest is near the fireplace safely closed with a sturdy iron lock.

Time - 12:30 am

Gaius quicly unlocked the door and entered the house. He left the door open for the others to come in and quickly walked over to the chest, placing his hand on the lock he muttered some magical words.

Saris entered after Gaius and looked around the house. When she felt it was safe she took one of the chairs and sat down. She looked at Gaius opening a chest. "What's there?" she asked.

Gaius looked back at Saris and smiled as the lock clicked and opened. "Some stuff we might use... knowing of the situation here i stocked myself before i came... " he dived into the chest and retrieved several vials and pieces of rolled parchment.

Eirian sidled her way through the door, trying to avoid banging her wings on the frame. She glanced about and then sat herself down on a cushion by the fire.

Saris looked at the magical lock with interest. "Well, you certainly are prepared" she said to Gaius and then turned to Eirian. "Everything alright?"

Eirian nods, "Just a bit of a scratch on my shoulder. No drama."

Urien entered at knocked his head against a rafter. He cursed in an ancient tongue and then sat down holding his forehead. "I wish everywhere was built just a few inches higher!"

Saris smiled at Eirian and laughed a bit when Urien hit his head. "You're tall even for the lochmorian people" she said crossing her legs.

Gaius stood up and closed the chest. He turned to the others and said "Ok... these are lesser healing potions.." he said while handing a potion to Urien, Eirian and Saris. He then left two more on the table for Oni'ryu and Kah'ta. He took a slightly different looking potion from his pocket, he took off the small cork cap and drunk it all.

Gaius has drank a Magic Potion, he has gained 6 MP.
- Gaius's MP is now 6/12.

Urien pocketed his bottle. "Aye, I'm a wee bit tall for even my people, and not quite so broad, and neither do I grow my facial hair. I guess I'm a one of a kind Lochmorian." He rubbed his forehead a bit more before letting it be and relaxing more in his seat. "So, is there any chance of a wee drink before we head off?"

"Well, let's see what we have first" Saris said, grabbed the potion Gaius gave her and saved it in her pack. She smiled and left a little bag with coins over the table. "This is what I got from one of the dead warriors... but I wouldn't spend it in drinks right now" she smiled.

"Indeed" replied Gaius pulling a chair and sitting down near Saris. "I believe Kah'ta's got the rest of the money..." he continued. "It's past noon already... we should have something to eat and then head straight to Skelle, before he begins to wonder about Vallmak."

Eirian picked up the vial and looked at it curiously before pocketing it.

Oni'ryu takes off his hat as he steps in through the door. He props his sword up against the wall by the door and folds his arms accross his chest.

Kah'ta enters, following Oni'ryu, leaves the larger bag of coins on the table and leaves the leather armor near the chest in the back. "We should distribute the money then." he says to Gaius.

Gaius opens both bags and quickly begins sorting the coins in 6 equal piles. After a few minutes he mumbles "there.." and puts his onw pile in his pouch.

Everyone gains 29 GP!

"Very nice" Saris said smiling, grabbed a pile of coins and saved them in a little bag hidden in her clothes. "Well, as Gaius said, we should move fast now. Skelle will miss his warriors"

"Possibly," Eirian replies, pocketing her share of the coins. She runs her hands over her bow, checking it for any damage, and then gives a small satisfied nod. "Well, I'm ready when you are."

Gaius stood up and looked at the others. "Very well then... listen up... everyone go and stock yourselves as best as you can, or have something to eat, we'll meet back here in an hour. Skelle and his men will be having lunch then, probably at the Golden Sail. So try to stay clear of the tavern. We'll meet them unprepared and outside the Guard's quarters."

"Fine" Saris said standing up. "I'm ok with the plan" she headed to the door and stood there. "Anyone wants to go with me?" she asked the others.

Eirian stands and walks over, "I will."

"Good" Saris smiled. "I think we should go to the market and see if we can get something interesting there..." she said and left the house.

Eirian nodded and followed after.

Kah'ta followed Eirian and Saris to the market, interested in what wares it's merchants are offering.

Osvik: Out shopping

Time - 1:30 am

Gaius patiently waited for his friends to get back. Oni'ryu had left to explore around the town and make sure none of Skelle's men escaped while Gaius and the others stormed the Golden Sail.

Saris entered the house after having taken a look around the market. "Hello again" she greeted Gaius.

Gaius looked up to Saris and smiled "Welcome back, found anything interesting?"

Urien entered the house, flashing his new shield. He sat down near the fireplace. "Oi... so we will be taking care of Skelle soon I hope?"

"He did" Saris said to Gaius, pointing at Urien. "I didn't find anything... Well, there was this very strange weapon... a musket"

Gaius's eyes widened and his sight fell to the floor. "Aye... i remember those things, they wrecked the Caessenian ranks during the civil war. I reckon all of those things fell in Tharezian hands during the battle of Paladin's Fall."

"Powerfull weapons, it seems" Saris said, not caring much of Gaius reaction "but not many have of them. The blacksmith said maybe Verholm had one, so we should be prepared..."

Gaius couldn't help a small chuckle. "Believe me, Verholm has far worst things than muskets stored in his mansion. Old man Fagerbotten came by to tell me Skelle and his men where in the Tavern already. Well he found out that Verholm has not only been dealing with Dah'kin but he has also been transporting large amounts of meat over to his mansion almost everyday..." he stood up and looked out the door to see if the others were coming already. "Luckily these were not Spireling Dah'kin (this meaning they are not allieged with the Spire King) but still, they must have something nasty up their sleeves."

Kah'ta stepped into the small house. "Hello gaius." he exclaimed before sitting down in a nearby chair.

"Welcome" replied Gaius, "Well were only missing Eirian now."

"Still, Dah'kin's are Dah'kin's" Saris murmured. "It seems all gets more complicated". She looked at Kah'ta as he arrived, saying nothing. She moved to a wall and lied against it.

Eirian darts back into the house looking a little flustered and breathless. "Sorry, I lost track of where I was wandering." She grins wryly.

"Don't worry" replied Gaius with a smile. "Any questions before we go and kick Skelle's ass?"

"How are we gonna get inside the mansion? No doubt a frontal assault would be suicide." says Kah'ta scoffingly.

"Quite possibly..." answered Gaius "But we don't have many options..."

Urien stood up, swinging his sword around. "I say we take care of Skelle and then ponder on the Verholm problem!"

"We still need a plan to attack the tavern. We only want Skelle and his men..." Saris said. "And we must use the surprise factor in our advantage"

"Yeah actually I thought of that... and I think we could use the same tactic they used on us... You know, one of us can call them out and we could ambush them from both sides of the main street, Faggerbotten would close the doors and might be able to shoot an arrow or two from the windows pf the Golden Sail. I'm sure we can position Eirian on the scond floor of building across the street from the Golden Sail, she's got some wicked sniper skills to her..." Said Gaius.

Eirian accepted the compliment with a nod, "And if worse comes to worse, I'm only a wings beat away." She pauses for a moment, "Perhaps one or two of us could enter through the back of the tavern and follow them out the front, the old 'Hammer and Anvil.'"

Urien rubbed his chin. "I have an idea that may work. Perhaps one of us stronger fellows disguises ourselves with a robe and cloak, all hooded, and we act like a simple tramp, just near the door. As soon as curs step out the door we lay fire to them and the one near the door jumps up and guts them nice and quick. Or alternatively we could just rush them."

"That could be a good idea... but I would rather not put Fagerbotten or his tavern in risk..." said Gaius in a concerned tone. "Who knows, one of Skelle's men might jump up and take him hostage, remember they're all over the tavern right now.. if we fight inside we would be in a hell of a disadvantage.."

"Perhaps not. Especially if we could convince Fagerbotten to ply them with plenty of free ale before hand." Eirian replies. "Drunk men are often easier to kill, and we can reimburse Fagerbotton out of their pockets once we're done with them."

"Quite hard to do so considering they're already there..." replied Gaius watching the sun through the window, trying to determine how much time they had until the men left the Tavern.

Eirian shrugs, "Well what do you intend then?" She asks, idly scratching a forearm.

"I really don't know... then again we might be able to take them on head on... but whatever we do we have to do it quickly..." said Gaius standing up and grabbing his staff.

Urien began towards the tavern. "At least we will have the advantage of knowing there will be a fight. Skelle and his men probably have no idea of who we are, so they won't expect a ragtag group like us to attack them."

Saris sighed. "I stay with the idea of fighting them outside. Let's go and wait for them to get out... hidden, so they don't know we are there". She stood close to the door. "We have to hurry up" she said.

"You're right" said Gaius moving towards the door. "We'll miss them if we stay here pondering the situation." He then walked out the door and headed to the mains street.

Urien followed after Gaius.

Saris left the house after Urien.

Eirian shugs again and follows Saris.

Kah'ta slipped through the door before it closed, following the others...
