Party Anyone?
The continuation of the main discussion from The Bloendend Maria Bar
Ranashi laughed as she strolled into the lobby of the Inn. "Ya know," she continued to say, watching Anna stoll in behind her, "my other half is currently at the Road. She should be here soon." She then walked over to a small coffee machine in the corner and picked up one of those small packets of cream, popped it open, and slurped down the sweet liquid.
"Mmm? Your oher half eh?" Looking about the inn she nodded to herself, it was pretty nice looking. Glancing over to the machine, she tilted her head and took a small cup of black coffee and sipped on it while leaning against the counter, the tendrils that were once out from under her long skirt now gone.
"Yeah," Ranashi repeated, taking another cream cup and drinking it, "Sometimes when my boss gives me a job while I'd rather be somewhere else, I split myself in half. One on me goes and does the job, while the other me does whatever. My other half is currently walking up the road. She should be here soon."
Laughing some, Anna nodded and set down her coffee. "I thought you meant a signifigant other." Leaning her head back, she shook a few of the dreadlocks back in place. "That must really come in handy when you don't feel like doing something."
"It does," Ranashi agreed, grabbing yet another cream cup, "but I don't think any guy would be interested in me after he'd find out what I am."
Anna threw her head back in a loud, natural laugher and nodded. "I know the feeling." A tendril slithered out of her hand and she grinned. "What man would like a woman that can practally have what he has to make him a man in bulk and size? Not to mention most men I come across are shorter then me, they don't like that."
