Paulo Coelho: Eleven minutes review

The reviews tell that this book is the most romantic and erotic book Coelho has ever written. I have to agree.
We meet Maria, a young Brazilian girl who loves and losts and wish to learn to love more. She moves to Switzerland in search for happiness and that eternal love and ends up as a prostitute by her own choice.
Exploring the human mind and body she wants to love but hides it - a prostitute can't love... until the inevitable happens.

Erotism, romanticism, philosophy.. this book has it all. Maria, though a young girl, grows up and her thoughts get so deep and wise - like an old woman's thoughts. The narration varies between the events and the thoughts Maria writes in her diary. And Coelho's narration is working.

If you want to read something extremely romantic, but hate those Harlequin novels and chick flicks - this is the choice for you.
