Paulo Coelho: The Witch of Portobello review

This time Coelho tells us a story of Athena, a mystical young woman born in Romania, raised in Beirut and living in London. A young mother, who is in constant search to find who she is and while doing it changes the world of others.

The narration of Coelho in this book is interesting, because we never learn what Athena really thinks herself. We know bits and pieces of her life and personality by numerous other people influenced by her. One by one, these people tell us who Athena is, or who they think she is.
But it is still a surprise for everyone in the end as they never really learn to know her properly...

This philosophical book is about love, spirituality and learning to know yourself. It's a beautiful story of a woman who they called the witch of Portobello.
I think you should get to know her too.
