PRAYERS, CHANTS, AND RHYMES 3

Prosperity

Buy a pin
With a bee
And wear when
You need energy.
A piece of coal,
If found
Upon the ground,
Brings prosperity.

Pine Resin

To be spoken when lighting the resin of pine trees in an incense burner.
Resin of pine tree
Burn in this bowl.
Remove the dark energy
That’s invaded my home.

While Picking Holly

Holly sprig, come with me
Into my home where you shall be
United with your elven family.
Joyous festivities upon my hearth
Where we eagerly await the Sun’s rebirth.
To life eternal, to the Sun and to Earth!

Free Me

Loosely bind a dark feather with a thin white thread to a tree and say
the following:
From stress and heartache, free me.
From all the chaos of the days, free me.
From stagnant thoughts, free me.
From idleness and feelings of helplessness, free me.
Wind, free me!
Walk away. When the wind tugs the feather from the tree, you will be freed.

Candle Enchantment

Candle tall.
Candle bright.
Candle burn
All through the night!

Pumpkin Enchantment

Pumpkin orange
With grizzly face
Protect tonight
My homely place

Hazel Nut Charm

The hazel nut is said to contain all the wisdom of the worlds.
They were carried around as charms to protect health and to help gain knowledge and bring about good fortune.
Hazel nut, nut, nut.
Bring me luck, luck, luck.
Heal my mind, mind, mind.
May wisdom find, find, find
It’s way to me, me, me
And may I be, be, be
Blessed by three, three, three.

Ball Of Protection

Ball of protection,
Round and smooth,
I need your help
To make my move.
Let’s get the ball rolling.
The future’s ahead.
Heal me with blue
And make my energy red.
I take my first step now.
I am freed from the past.
Keep the ball rolling.
I am myself at last!
To bring about quiet, say:
Hush like a whisper
The wind through the trees
Softer and softer
A summer’s breeze
