The Dark lord sat upon his throne, breathing heavily; he had not yet recovered. Amrevar wearily sat back, heeding the call of darkness that was entering his heart...a greater evil was at work...His heart crying out as it seemed like something sacred was torn from him without warning. The mark of the Shadow Dragons burned his hand like a fire of pain...nothing would soothe it except for the hate he held deep witin his corrupted mind. He thought of Theria, mages of her appeared in his mind...but faded and never returned again.
Malias only sighed with a nod. "...And in that...you are correct, Illatrius... But it is all the will of his father...The Lord of the shadow Dragons, former Drow Elf Dark Lord of the Dark Realm... Amai an Elf of Sar'dan was Amrevar's mother but killed by the same evil her husband created within his wrath to end the world of fleshly dragons...so he took the form given to him from the Shadow Dragons...and became Lord of their world... Amrevar is a slave to his father's will... nothing more than a pawn...driven by madness and hate against his father and to those he despised all his long life..."
Drazon growled, but said nothing.
"What bothers you?" Illatrius asked calmly.
Amrevar's heavy breathing echoed in the dark throneroom...T
hen he remembered Sireonis..."Sireonis...is still within the castle...I had forgotten about him..." He stood up and looked to the castle doors...
Drazon looked at her,"...amrevar...is in mortal danger...but i dare not go back."
"How so?" she asked worriedly.
Drazon looked away,"...if i go back i put his daughter in danger."
"You are making me wonder, Drazon...Theria will be with Malias," she said.
They landed at the castle of Sar'dan, Malias dismounted and took Amrevar's daughter Theria inside. He then left and met with Illatrius and Drazon.
Drazon looked at him as he approched.
"What are you planning to do now, Drazon? Leave with Illatrius and find yourselves a dwelling... Meet with me later," Malias said calmly.
Drazon nodded and looked at his mate.
Illatrius sighed and lifted off.
Daleer continued walking around the town. He finally came across a castle and shuddered "I hate castles their too big for a halfling." He walked away from the castle and continued walking
Malias saw Daleer, but looked away and watched Illatrius.
Amrevar walked forward only to end up stumbling, yet he caught himself using the wall with what strength he had left. He knew he had lost nearly everything...
Daleer noticed the other person watching him as he walked and gave a wave to him and continued walking
Lord Malias waved in return and the returned his gaze to Illatrius.
Drazon followed Illatrius,"...where are we headed?"
"A forest..a cave...somewhere I can lay my eggs...before tomorrow..." Illatrius replied. "I haven't much time."
Daleer walked over to the man "The names Daleer the Halfling Ranger." Daleer bowed in respect
Drazon looked at her and sensed her anixeity,"...i understand."
"Please help me find something suitable..." she said.
Malias bowed as well and smiled. "I see you are new here. Welcome to Sar'dan...I am sure you will enjoy your stay."
"Thank you and so far I have enjoyed my stay. I was wondering if by chance you could point me in the direction of the blacksmith. My swords are in desperate need of sharpening."
"Of course," Malias replied, "It shall be difficult for you to find it on your own...This city is vast. Come. Follow me." Malias led Daleer back into the city streets.
Drazon looked at her,"...i can make one?"
"Please do," Illatrius said quickly.
Daleer followed the man "Excuse me sir but I don't believe I caught your name."
Drazon nodded and played his hottest flame against a moutaind, boring a hole into it,"...suitable?"
"Yes!" Illatrius said desperately and she entered in and created a nest of twigs and grass larges enough for her coming eggs. she sighed.
"Forgive me," Malias said with another smile. "I am Malias Lord of Sar'dan." Malias calmly laughed and came to a building of smithing; he beckoned Daleer inside. "Here is what you wanted."
"AHHHHH well very well meet my lord. And thank you. If you ever need a ranger to track for you or to watch your woods I would be more than happy. I like it here it is nice and peaceful that and I just love watching the dragons fly." Daleer said with a smile walking into the smithing building
Malias nodded. "You are welcome, Daleer... I would enjoy having a ranger around... The dragons are wonderful...the only creatures born with magic."
"Yes yes they are." Daleer walked up to the smither and handed him his swords "I need these as sharp as dragons fang if you don't mind please." The smither took the swords and began sharpening them
Drazon nodded and watched Illatrius as she settled herself.
Illatrius smiled at him and laid her head down on the ground.
Malias only smiled as he watched him. "What brings you to Sar'dan?"
Drazon nodded, knowing it was now safe to enter and curled up beside his mate.
Illatrius then fell asleep as she awaited the eggs.
Drazon kept a watchfull eye on her as she slept.
During the night the eggs had been lain; there were five all together: three were black colored eggs, one had been a dark blue, and the last had been (as intended) as sparkling silverish white egg. she smiled with bliss and nudged them.
Drazon looked at the eggs and then his mate, and felt a sudden rush of love for her,"...congradulations."
"Thank you," she said with a smile as she looked at him. "Though I wonder...one of them is a Dark Blue...hm...one of your parents must have been blue perhaps?"
"Well my lord I have always liked dragons and I was told that this is the place to find them. I hope to become the first halfling dragon rider."
Drazon chuckled,"...perhaps...will you stay with me when they are all hatched?"
Illatrius thought for a moment ans smiled again. "Of course." She snuggled next to him.
"You may be treated to a dragon egg here...My dragon Illatrius was about to lay her eggs soon," malias said. "But I must see if you are worthy enough...We are holding the Elven archery competitions tomorrow...Shall you join us?"
Drazon rumbled deep with in his throat then said,"...i aplogize for forcing myself into you."
"Do not worry about it...It proved useful for Theria...If it wasn't for you...she would have never had the chance to become a Rider...Now she has a better chance after the month is over," Illatrius forgave.
Drazon grinned,"...i look forward to a proper mating."
"So do I," She said, looking back at the eggs.
Drazon breathed a hot breath of air onto them.
Illatrius smiled and then Theria found her way into the cave; she gazed upon them with glittering blue eyes. "Dragon eggs!" she went and hugged Illatrius. "Congradulations!"
"Thank you," Illatrius thanked.
Drazon smiled and nudged the starlight egg towards her,"...this one is to be yours, little one."
Theria's eyes went wide. she could barely speak. She hugged Drazon. "Thank you!"
Illatrius laughed.
Drazon nodded,"...name her well when she hatches."
"I will," Theria said with asmile, but her smile faded when her father came to her mind. "Do you think...my father is okay?"
Ickidor was in a forest tracking some animals for dinner."Where are you rabbits?"
