THE RP GUIDE

Just some helpful hints for rpers today.

Remember!. We don't mean to be mean by saying these things, so don't attack us for what we put up here!


Be original! Don't take some character you saw on an anime one time and copy/paste their bio as your characters. RPs where eveyone is a clone of someone else's creation tend to die alot quicker than ones where everybody put time into their characters design.

Don't god mode it. It pisses other people off and often requires you to deny stuff people did...none of that *stabs your character and kills them* stuff either, let them decide what happens, try something like *thrusts at 'insert name here's chest*

When in an RP that uses weapons, have the weapon fit the time and place. If your in 15th century europe, I don't think everyone will be carrying around katanas. And if your in century 2543, fighting the robot menace, there's no need to be a ninja.

Fit the fantasy level of the RP your in. If your in a semi-realistic rp, there's no need to start using magic. And if your in an rp with the word magic in it, don't complain when your characters is dodging fireballs, it's how the game words.

Use multiple characters. There is no reason for a single end all be all character for all your rps. Mostly because you end up mixing realities and confusing people when you do stuff that makes no sense for the rp.
