Below are photos from the open house this year. It's held every year in October and it's the job of the second year's (aka: us) to put together some interesting 'booths' for the public as they wander through our clinic.

Above My poster *grins* And some of my feather collection. My group's topic was "possible careers for an AHT" You can see how popular we were... (as Lois sits all alone) There wasnt really anything 'hands on' we could do with our topic, so everyone just kinda wandered past us on the way to surgery. Then the surgery prep area where we anesthitize the animals and prepare them for surgery (shave and scrub the inscision site, etc)

Above A mock setup of what it looks like when we're in surgery, the lab, where we do all our analysis of blood, urine, and fecal matter, and the occasional bit with micro-biology type stuff, The dental suite, and the Radiology suite (no one was doing anything on radiology this year)
