These are the official rules of The New Republic they will be obeyed or you will be banned.

Rule #1: My word is law!

If I don't like it, it’s out. If I think it’s dumb then the answer is NO. If I thinks it’s stupid then the answer is HELL NO! If I say your banned then there is a good reason and you only get one warning.

Rule #2: POWER PLAYING WILL GET YOU AND YOUR CHARACTER MURDERED!!!!! I will not abide power playing at any time in any shape form or fashion. The only acceptable form of power playing is when a grammatical mistake from one poster is fixed by another.

In the event of game congestion a Moderator has the power to move things along by playing another character for one or two small posts. Don’t worry, we won’t do anything to your character that is out of character... you know what I mean.

Rule #3: Type correctly in a story telling fashion. I don't want to see a character saying: “Hey ppl, whut up?” or any other nonsense like that. Type in third person as well with the first mention of your name in bold. Also if you are in a different location as the other characters head your post with your location in bold.

Example:
The Daily Planet
Thomas paid the cab driver and entered the building. At the help desk he checked his messages and returned to his office.

Rule #4: Anything that does not have Star Wars basis is out. No crazy things like lightbows and arrows or teleportation devices. No mutant powers or species you've created yourself. If it ain't in the movies it ain't gonna be in this game.

Rule #5: Your character can't be all super powered and omnipotent. Even the great Emperor Josmar has his limits. No hurling spacecraft with the force or ripping people apart for no good reason. AND NO GIANT STAR FLEETS! If I read that there is someone with like 3 deathstars in their fleet your automaticaly banned for being an ideot.
