Roger M. Allen: Ambush at Corellia review

Allen's book starts a new trilogy in the Star Wars universe: the Corellian trilogy. Han, Leia, their children and Chewbacca travel to Han's homeworld in the planet Corell just to realise it's on a brink of a civil war between the three species that live in the five planets of the Corellian system: the humans, the Drall and the Selonian.
Han is been sucked into the political plotting without his intent and the family soon realise they're all part of something that seems to be a far bigger plot than they first realised.

Allen's first book was easy to get into. The characters are vivid and their personalities represent the characters we all know from the movies. The good thing in this book was that there weren't an Imperial threat with a mighty superweapon as it seems to be in some of the SW stories taking place after the Thrawn trilogy (one of the best ones, I might add).

This book leaves you wanting to know what happens next and how and why. Lot of questions are left open, which is the sign of a good writer.

This series is for all you Star Wars geeks and nerds who are more into the adventures on Han rather than Luke.
