SPADNAA - Society for the Prevention of Abuse and Discrimination against Nude Art or Artists

Due to the situation with the laws of consent in the US, the minimum age to be a member is 18

To those who stand naked before the arts be it a camera, a life study class, or performing onstage,

With out the lights of such souls as yourself, this world would be a much darker place. It is necessary to the heart of man that there be those that carry that light in their flesh and in their minds. They are the flutterbys that touch us, and the summer wind that floats filled with fluff and wonderous smells, and the weaving threads of ballooning spiders like tiny angels tickling our upturned faces. That is what you are, and for the sake of humanity, you must always be.

In my journey there is art, and there is that which is not art. Art is forever acceptable, that which is not art depends on my mood of the moment. :)

The human form is just as interesting and worthy of expression as is any other animal, and it has the added attraction of generally being directly interactive with our own emotions and internal triggers. Such a powerful subject cannot, and never should be less than a very important and socially loud statement of the culture, the state of the world and the pure expression of female spirit. © 2006 Marion Z. This community is dedicated to the art of, and the continuing development and expression of the nude, the support and gathering of resources for the artists, models, and those that simply appreciate the pure natural beings that we are in our own skins.

Also, you can help by becoming a member of SPANDAA! This wiki is dedicated to protect the endangered artists and their wonderful nude muses all around the world. With your help, we can make sure that no nude artists or artists models, are treated unfairly anymore!

2009-01-31 [Rebulous]: It is not us who empower the self-appointed netcops. It is those who bend to their will, like the DA guards, who empower them. Instead of removing the image, the DA guards should gently recommend the application of the aforementioned mature filters, or go elsewhere to apply their netcoppery.

2009-01-31 [Skydancer]: DA does not have guards, its a very different community than it is here and the mature filters were in place. Lets not get into a big discussion or argument about DA here, that is a totally different place, and really, except for inviting folks over and elftowners that have galleries there, no connections. They have millions of users, and currently some 60+ million submissions to their galleries. They are also a corporation.

2009-01-31 [Paul Doyle]: OK, change of subject: what would a presidential inauguration be like . . . with everyone utterly nude? (And assuming there's some unseasonably warm weather for Washington, DC in late January . . . )

2009-01-31 [Skydancer]: I really don't know, but this community is about nude art not being a nudist...

2009-01-31 [Rebulous]: I'm confused. We don't want to discuss DA here, yet we pull artwork from DA that is making a point about DA?

2009-01-31 [Skydancer]: I have a lot of links to DA stock artists and nude artists that can be helpful to the artists and students here. But its a total waste of time to discuss DA here as its a completely different thing and all its good for as far as we are concerned is a resource for us to study, learn from and if you wish, to have a gallery on. Chattering about its rules and procedures and decisions is a waste of time and space for SPADNAA. There are some wiki on Elftown somewhere that are artists that are Elftowners on DA, but I just don't want this area to become a source of spam for the members. Only a few of us are both in SPADNAA and on DA. I am when I can, trying to get some of the better artists and stockers to come over and look at our group though. With the point being that we "are" a different sort of group and politics and popularity do not rule the day here. Thats all.
