Now many of us love the beach or anything to do with the beach. The fresh sea breezes or even the warmth of the golden sand beneath your feet as the waves of the sea run over the top. Now here is a contest where you can show your love and appreciation of such a wonderful enviroment.

The Rules

1) The photography must have both sand and sea in it. It may contain people and other items but there must be sand and sea in it.

2) No photomanipulations will be accepted.

3) The photograph must be your own photo and not some random image that you have found and like

4) You must say where your photo was taken, eg Dawlish Warren, Devon, England.

5) You may have up to 3 entries and no more, if you are found to have more than 3 you will be messaged to remove a few until you have 3.

6) Please be respectful and polite about other peoples photography submissions, any bitchyness will be dealt with severly.

Some Hints and Tips

- Submitting more entries does not mean you will win.

- Having a lot of friends vote for you does not mean you will win.

- Submissions will be judged as fairly as possible, with the poll as a guide. But overall the judges will have the final ruling on who wins.

2006-08-03 [Blaithin]: Does it have to be the sea or for us poor land locked folks can it be rivers, lakes, dams etc.?

2006-08-04 [Blaithin]: It's ok, I might be able to find one or two from a vacation I took a while ago but if not I still get to see nice pics :)

2006-08-04 [Firenze]: Okie Doke. That will be cool ^_^ I live near like 6-8 beaches, so it is easy enough for me but then again, you have the tourists >.< Aye it will be nice to see the pics that are submitted ^_^

2006-08-21 [xXx..:: KAGE ::..xXx]: What happens if you win the contest? Is there a prize, or is it just for a random reason (ex. FUN).

2006-08-21 [Firenze]: I am making up a what I call a post card prize, basically I am going to take 3 photos of the beach and make an e-post card out of it saying you've won ^_^ Each photo will be different as well ^_^
