Step by step creation of my latest sculpture project *grins*

Above The original image I got the idea for the sculpture from, and steps 1-3. I used a mold to create the face, not quite enough practice doing detailed facial features on my own yet.

All right, so not -quite- step by step, but that would have been boring *laughs* So now he's ready to bake and paint, which will probably happen next weekend. I spent about 8 hours on him today, and my fingers HURT from kneading the clay so it was workable. Went through most of a box of Super Sculpy. Without a doubt my most detailed work to date, and I'm super happy with him. Now if only my paint job can do him justice.. that's going to be -way- more challenging. Excluding the base, he's about 5" tall at the brim of his hood.
