Dragonfly

Falling, falling,
through the air;
Soaring, diving,
not a care.
How on earth did such a thing,
such a little tiny thing,
get named after the legendary
winged serpent Majestary?
The wondrous reptile of the myth
who rules above with an iron fist?
How could such a thing like that,
and insect with six legs at that,
get named after the huntress,
a dragon, nothing more or less,
and yet still be called insectoid?
