Invaders

They barge in on our free time,
telling us to do their chores.
They break into our meetings,
making us look like fools.
Their laws are ever strict,
their rule list growing longer.
They're completely unaware
of their horrible destruction.

They're simply called Invaders,
those wreckers of our time,
who barge in on our hidden talks
with who knows who or what.

They are our parents, who else?
