Mother Wind

Pulsing, changing, going up
Drafty, breezy, side to side,
Diagonal, vertical, horizontal,
It has no form that we can see.

It whispers through the trees,
Whistles through the plains.
It shoots into the valleys,
And comes back out to play.

The currents, ever shifting,
Still changing, even now;
Moving through the deepest ocean,
and through the toughest earth.

The mother of the wind must be
Very mighty, yes indeed,
For being able to shape rock,
However long it takes the clock
Must take a little time to break,
Yes, Mother wind must be quite great,
And very patient at that.
