Winter Writing

Winter comes,
and winter goes,
and then along comes spring.
I sit here writing
my hand still flying,
flying across the page.
And yet, even so,
spring comes and spring goes,
and summer arrives on a wave
before fading into fall.
And despite that time goes on,
I still can never stop
since I never quite knew how to start.
