Slayers Chapter Fifteen
I'd like to just take a moment and say - Well folks, I'm sure you already know what was going down in the last chapter. No need to make it anymore obvious then it already was so... we skipped the juicy details. -Honestly it was a long time coming. I mean, c'mon my character had only been hinting at it for ages...

Zel_Naga] to get his writers block cured I figured I'd write this, for you, the readers. If there are any, & if there aren't then I write this for myself so that when I come back and read this in a year or more I can laugh till I cry...

Zel_Naga] i think i'll leave that "fo sho" but anyways back to the story.....
::shortly after the sun set:: "Wow i never thought i could feel like that, it was amazing. however I need to get my strength back up just in case the demons followers show up. I'm gonna go out and get some fire wood cause it's gonna get cold tonight." :: zel walks over to the table and picks his sword belts up off the ground and puts them along with the rest of his gear on:: "would you like to come with or you gonna wait here?"
"I'll wait here." Fads said looking around for clean clothes... "You know it's funny, I don't think I've ever had clean clothes since this little escapade began."
[
Zel_Naga] "well alot of new things have been happening to the both of us since we met. well the firewood isn't going to get itself so i'll be back in a little bit." ::zel walks towards the door and stops just short:: "You sure you don't wanna go with me?"
::Looks at him laughing:: "Well I kinda don't have a shirt anymore... Unless you have one... Do you want me to go with you?"
"well you can wear my shirt, i see you washed most of the blood out, and besides i can just wear my jacket. And it's up to you if you wanna go i was just making sure if you wanted to or not."
"I guess I'll go... might be rather boring just sitting here by myself... I think sometime soon we should go into town and get new supplies and clothes..."
"This is true we'll go get some fire wood and when we get back i'll head into town to get some stuff. Well lets go here's my shirt." ::takes off shirt and tosses it at fads::
::fads puts on shirt and pants then gets up:: "Well I can go into town with you, after all, I just planned on finding someone around my size and taking their clothes after I've fed."
"i guess that'll work, i'm not sure that i'll get used to it.... feeding that is but it's not necessary for me."
"I try not to think about it much, just focus on the energy, and the sensations I feel..."
"ok if you say so. well lets get going so we can get some wood and get into town quickly."
"I'm following you..."
::zel and fads approach the town after a short hike through the woods:: "i've got a bad feeling about this, not sure if it's from you but maybe we should be careful. you think we should split up or something, see if we can get what we need fast and get out quickly?
"IF you think that would be best then sure, where shall we meet and in how long?" Fads said nearly bouncing along the path.

Zel_Naga]: "one hour right back here and don't be late, i really don't wanna have to tear down this place looking for you ok."
"Yes sir" Fads laughed, and was off like a bullet after her meal... It didn't take her long to find a girl her size, she didn't smell very appetizing but fads knew that once she disposed of the corpse she could grab a quick snack from someone else... lure him into an alley and just take a little.... then be on her way again...
All in all it took her ten minutes or so to eat, change, get rid of the body, and then she was off again, smelling everyone who passed her. From one of the buildings came a familiar smell that she couldn't quite place. It was a man, that she could tell, but not who. Curiosity was over whelming her. The more she breathed in, the more she wanted to know. She snuck inside, and paused. Her eagerness to place the smell had made her forget to check if there was danger. Once she was assured there was none, she crept from room to room. The smell was so strong and yet she could not find who it belonged to. He was here, of this she was sure, but it seemed like he was jumping from one room to the next, staying long enough for her to catch a fresh wiff, and transport some place else.
He knew she was there, and he knew it was driving her nuts. Obviously this was someone who could read her, but at the same time keep her blocked out of his head.

[Zel_Naga] slowly moved along the side of the barn up to a window to ensure that there infact was nobody inside. "Good an easy catch of food for later i'll just grab two chickens and be gone." ::zel drops to the ground in writhing pain:: "Damn...... these urges...... to feed......, maybe i should grab a bite to eat from the house, should be pretty.....easy."

Fads knew she should leave, Zel would be furious with her if she didn't make it back soon. Her heart was thundering in her chest, she turned to go down the hall, towards the way she came and came face to face with the vampire who'd made her. He didn't look as sinister as he had the first and last time she'd met him. But she couldn't forget what he'd done to her and her brother. She wanted to run, she want to scream, she wanted to do a million other things but stand there stunned. But she couldn't, and she didn't know why. She was praying that somehow Zel would feel her fear even if he wasn't there. She looked at her maker, and waited for him to make his move, but he didn't, he just stood there smiling, as if he knew everything she was thinking. He probably did, she realized, for who knows what powers he has.

As [Zel_Naga] crept ever so silent towards the house he felt a strange emotion he had only felt a few times in his past. "What is this odd feeling..... could it be.... no she's gotta be ok, i'll just go find her though, maybe we could grab a bite together... but this feeling is odd. i'm sure something just starteled her is all."

After a few more moments, he finally broke the silence "You should be happy to know that you're the only one of your vampiric siblings to last this long." "Oh so you abandoned them too? Luckily for me, I found someone to show me the things you failed too." She growled.
"Apparently he didn't teach you much on self preservation, running into an abandoned building to play cat and mouse with someone you can't keep up with. But then, you weren't ever the cat in this particular game... Where is dear old Vampyre anyway??? It seems he too has abandoned you."
Fads gasped, how did he know about Vampyre? Had he been keeping tabs on her?
"Of course I have darling, I made you for a reason, I wasn't going to let you stray far from my sight." "So you can hear my thoughts!" "Of course I can, your mind is so easy to access." He laughed. She stared at him for a moment, trying to think clearly. "You said… you said you made me for a reason, what reason would that be exactly?"
He laughed more, his light brown hair falling into his face. "Because you were to lovely a creature to let sickness or old age claim." For a moment his eyes had a hint of melancholy to them, as if he could see what he spoke of. "That and I have always been a selfish being, I wanted you to be my partner when you were ready, but it seems you've found someone else to keep your bed warm while you're out hunting." He moved quickly over the space between them, his hand touching her face, moving her hair away. "So pretty..." He whispered as he leaned in to kiss her neck.
Fads closed her eyes, remembering the first time he'd done this. She saw her brother dead outside her bedroom door, saw her maker leaning in to kiss her. To turn her. "Your brother was lovely too, shame he wouldn't cooperate. I would have turned him as well had he not tried to alert the others. No matter though, you were the strongest twin anyway, so I consider myself fortunate."
Fads blood ran cold, furious she pushed him off of her through the wall into the next room.
