A beautiful Beast, giver of life, bringer of relief
a roar of ferocity, with tears of sympathy
a cradler of fertility, and muse to the harvest
A beast of sacred Myth, a welcomed and occasioned friend
though a worn welcome can lead to a tragic end...

a fragile mirror, a glistening pool
a dance of colour in the reflective tool
a wakening, a rustling, a window to a new world
an oasis of wisdom, crowned by a meadow of brush,
in many forms, from meak, to lush.
but cherish the sight, as in a whim it can stray
and in the dawn of the moon, it must be put to lay.

Rigid and sharp, makes a threatening remark
take caution with mother's knife
though fierce in form, this threat's delicately sworn
and shattered by the simplest spark.
