No one to Trust

No One to Trust captures your mind in a wild journey of a woman trying to protect her son from an unwanted lover’s company. She puts herself and her son under the witness protection program to escape from a highly rated villain.

Through this journey you find out of the mother’s past. She takes you from the end of her old life and the beginning of her new life. Love is a big component in this story. You have the mother’s love and devotion to protect her son, whose father is of a man of dangerous aspects. The love of a man who wants to have his son to himself. Finally, you have a new love that blossoms throughout the story.

Iris Johansen did a good job with the structure of the story. It has a before story and a what’s happening now story. It makes the reader fully understand, in vivid detail, how it began and how it ends. The book’s an action packed, love roller coaster filled book. This book is not for the minds of little kids. It does have some adult situations, but it adds to the drama of the story.

I found this book at, I believe, a dollar store. I picked it up because of what the back cover said. I have read this book twice in a few years and it still makes me not want to put it down. It is one of my favorites. If I were to rate this story, I would give it about four out of five little elves. Reasoning for a missing elf is because it is a detailed book, but I prefer more detail. In some parts it does not explain the scenery very well and it’s left up to the reader to imagine their own interpretation. I like the spicy moments in a love story as well, it did not go into much detail, but it still made me tingle a bit on the inside. It is also a pretty cheap book, $7.50 when I bought it and it has been a few years. I hope this inspires you to pick up a book!
