Appearance: Rem is 176 cm tall and weighs 63 kg. His hair is black and cut in a strange way, his eyes are blue and he has a heart-shaped face which generally makes him look rather young. Overall, he looks fairly normal. He usually wears jeans or tracksuit pants, an undershirt, T-shirt or sweater, a cap with no top or winter cap, running shoes and a sports jacket or winter coat.
Personality: Rem is quiet and only speaks when he needs to. He's somewhat shy, but has no trouble defending his points when he needs to. He's very aware of his limitations and rarely even considers trying to do something he deems himself not capable of doing. Rem is above all stable and reliable, though he's been witnessed to have his moody moments as well. He appreciates having good reliable friends and makes his best to keep his partner happy.
Background: Rem was orphaned at the age of seven and due to the hostility the world had toward mutants back then, Rem decided to live on the streets by himself. He got by largely by tricking people with his telepathy, though it took him a while to get it working like he wanted to – the lack of another telepath to practice with didn't do him any good.
He met the Gillian cousins at the age of 15 and while Kim (THOH character: Kimvekadrei Gillian) started hating him (more due to eir own situation rather than anything else) with passion, Kydre (THOH character: Kydre Gillian) was immediately fond of him – though anyone could argue that it was due to Rem's inability to control his empathic abilities.
