Poem's Title: In Your Place
Poem:
Alone in my corner
where eyes can not stare
I watch you intently
with a cold fixed glare
I watch you torment him
fill him with pain
You tease him with putdowns
make his cheeks tear stained
He did nothing to harm you
he just spread his love
And as you cackle at him
he stays high above
I watch him take it all
into his own heart
I've watched you sink so low
from the very start
This time you broke him
as he drops to his knees
He looks at me hopelessly
and with his eyes he pleas
Stop this horrible pain
that they've inflicted upon me
It's killing me inside
why can't they all see
Alone in my corner
where no eyes can stare
His beautiful eyes
searched for me there
But i could not stand by
and watch what you did
You damn near killed
the heart of this kid
All eyes on me
just like before
then they tore up my heart
right down to the core
Now he's not teased
I took his place
And finally I see
that smile on his face.

Poem's Title: Slave's Goodbye
Poem:
They beat me, they burned me,
They raped me, they spurned me.
They cuffed me, they grilled me,
They starved me, they killed me.
They killed who I was
They killed all I knew
They killed all I loved
And all I held true.
The knives, the bars,
The racks, the chains.
Forsaken life.
No chance for change.
The whips, the pain,
This fort, this hell.
Am I even sane?
I just can't tell.
This slave can stand no longer.
This lunatic is done.
This bitch will flee her master.
Tonight I finally run.
I've run before.
I've not forgot.
But this time when I fly,
I won't return.
It's all or naught.
I'm free or else I'll die.
You're most like friends,
All you I hate.
To you I say goodbye.
The rest of you,
The slaves not met…
It's better you than I.

Poem's Title: No excuse.
Poem:
I try to find a good excuse;
I have no reason to refuse.
It seems so perfect, loving you
But my armor guards me from the truth.
I don't want to tell you, I'm afraid
That I will break all that we've made.
If I confess, then things wont flow,
And it will only go to show
That I was right to live in fear;
To never love, or shed a tear.
But every time I close my eyes,
All I can see is the despise.
I don't know if you see it to;
But if you can, my heart is true,
I'm afraid to really try
'Cause I'm afraid I'll make you cry.
I've waited to long; I apologize,
‘Cause you're just so perfect in my eyes.
If we are really meant to be,
My heart is yours; you hold the key.
Together, if I break your heart,
We can always try and make another start.
And if it takes me a thousand tries;
Or if it takes me a hundred lies;
I'll make it work, I'll prove to you
My love is real, my heart is true.
Let's forget the memories, our faded scars
And start again, with brand new hearts.
Forget the mistakes of our past
And let's just try to make it last-

Poem's Title: Where The Melancholy Waters Lie
Poem:
But a gone memory is the light of morn,
The moon of blue beneath overshadowing sky;
The decease of day shall I always mourn.
Forever doomed, bound by doubt am I,
Where the melancholy waters lie.
Chilling landscape becomes a masterpiece,
As crystal-glass waters reflect in my eye.
Inner turmoil begets outer peace.
Tears frost my chilled cheeks as I cry,
Where the melancholy waters lie.
The single thorned bloom of a rare rose
Amongst the crystallised mirrors I spy,
From whence a perfidious hope arose.
Alas! Struck down by fell deceit I die,
Where the melancholy waters lie.

Poem's Title: Love
Poem:
What love is love, when it fades so soon?
At the first test of honour, it loses to the moon.
The sky no longer seems so bright.
To me there is only darkness in your daylight.
The wind stopped blowing when you left.
To be pleased with the whistling of the robin is but theft.
Life holds no treasures for me, it is but a locked room to me.
They sentenced me death, even though they call it free.
I'd rather lay down my life if loneliness is my destiny
