Name: Thanastasia
Description: She is a fluorescent, glowing creature, six feet from the top of her head to the bottom of her bell, her tentacles stretching between five and ten feet beneath her. She is light blue and mauve and white, with short, dark blue stripes on her bell. She is long and lithe and semitransparent, and often any organs underneath her skin are more than apparent. Sometimes bones can be seen under her skin, rotting away until they're replaced with flimsy cartilage replicas, depending on how recently she's eaten.
History: Thanastasia has been a loner all her life, which suits her just fine. She found an abandoned ruin of a castle at the bottom of the ocean and preyed on any merfolk that were foolish enough to tread into her waters. She's become something of a legend umong the surrounding villages, but now with food getting fewer and further between, she's been forced to drift along the trade roads, preying on broken-down parties of merfolk.
