Age: 22
Occupation: Tour Guide
Appearance: I'm constantly trying to avoid the *quotes fingers* stereotype of Goth. These days it seems like every fifteen-year-o
ld with an issue decides the world is too cruel to go on living. Sure I have my days where I wear band t-shirts and black jeans but those are days I just don't care. My wardrobe has plenty of variety. All varying colors of black, naturally. And what self respecting Goth wouldn't have an assortment of spikes and chains to throw off the blackness? Shut up. I said try to avoid the stereotype, I didn't say I always succeed. Normally I wear makeup, black eyeliner, red eye shadow and your basic "where does that red exist in nature?" lipstick. I'm only 5'2", so don't fucking make fun of my height. I currently have four tattoos, all of which I designed. I also have 15 piercings but three you can't see and I'm not telling you where they are. My hair is straight, too straight and it's black hair with red streaks. Which makes me look like I'm stereotyping myself... oh just shut the fuck up.
Personality: Too many people who call themselves *quotes fingers* Goth act all depressed all the time and delve into their woes and sorrows with disturbing poetry and music. Ok yeah I do that sometimes but not always. I like to have fun, joke around with my friends. I listen to old school rock like The Who, Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath. Ozzie rocks! Some people say I'm scary but that just means they don't know what mood I'm ever going to be in. Which means they don't really know the real me.
Skills: I collect swords and practice with them. I've never had any formal training but you'd be surprised what you can learn from watching Highlander or Pirates of the Caribbean. During High school I had a run-in with witchcraft. At that age it was cool but a bad experience prompted me to leave it behind. I know a lot about it though. I've also got degrees in psychology and criminal psychology. I minored in parapsychology and have studied everything from apparitions to the zodiac. When I started getting into the paranormal I also began building an arsenal of camera and equipment. I've caught a few things on tape and a few EVP's (electronic voice phenomena) I'm thinking of making an independent film about this place. I fancied myself a ghost hunter before we moved here. Now I know I am one.
History:
It was just me and dad til he got married when I was 8. That young impressionable age. She brought two more kids into the house. An older brother and younger sister. I attribute my dark and brooding nature to those years of being left in the middle while my Dad tried to become a father to them and she *disgusted face* tried to show me what a real *quotes fingers* mommy was. I have specific memories of my real mother and that bitch was not her. I was folded into a private school. Uniforms, bitch ass teachers, that conform or die social structure. It did not aid my search for individuality. That's where I had my mishap with the Wiccan craft. We shall not discuss it however. Moving on. I was accepted into nicer, better colleges on academic scholarships but I told them all to stick it. I decided Louisiana State would be fine. I figured I'd like being around a more normal student body and it pissed off my parents. New Orleans offered a wide variety of paranormal activity where I could indulge my midnight activities. Besides, Marti Gras kicks ass. That's where met my roommates. All young adults of varying types. There where 6 of us til we found Shelly hanging from a beam with her neck broken. The cops said it was suicide but I know better. The ghost got her. No one believed me at first, then the shit started to happen.
