I always wanted my own Jaffa.


1. No power playing what so ever at any time. Moderators are authorized to power play if the circumstance deems worthy. Most often power playing becomes applicable for a mod when a user or character in the game hasn't posted or responded to anyone around them. If a playing character is held back in the game play due to inactivity a mod will play the inactive character long enough for the other player/s to be freed up.

2. Posts in bold called “Cut Scenes” are to be followed. A cut scene is a mod using their authority to direct game play. Ideally causing the players to follow specific lines. Most often than not they consist of time jumps or moving a group of people from one place to another. Such as directing the characters threw a gate.

3. Characters must be at least 25 years old, this gives a reasonable time frame for education, experience and military advancement.

4. You must obtain the permission of a mod to have more than one character.

5. Original SG characters will not actually be played by anyone other than the Moderators. However, you may have your character interact with the originals if they present themselves in the game. Which is unlikely.

5. Please type the correct way, and not in chat room style like: "Hey ppls watsup? R U ok?" That type of writing isn't allowed in this RPG.

6. While building your character take into consideration that they would have to have a generally reasonable personality. It's important that people work well with others. While disputes will most likely be common it's important that the characters who are allied with one another get along in a reasonable fashion.

7. Pictures of your character are not required, but we do encourage them.

8. No violent acts of murder what-so-ever! Sexual content is permitted to a certain extent. If you and another user wish to cyber with your characters feel free to do so. However make a sub-page and post the sexual content there, leaving a link for those of us interested in your character's content if you wish. DO NOT FORGET TO SAY ADULT CONTENT in parenthesis ( )

9. When posting, you should always make the first mention of your name bold, to make it easier for someone looking for your post.

10. After one month of character inactivity without proper notice your character will be frozen. If you don't offer a good enough explanation for the absence the your character will be deleted. End of story. See the rule where I am god.

11. [Ravenclaw] is god. She is not an unfair moderator and often consults with the other mods. But most decisions in the game are made by and enforced by Ravenclaw. If you have a problem, bitch at her.

12. No character will be allowed an ungodly abundance of weaponry. Limit yourself to one main weapon, a side arm and a few grenades or a staff weapon and a zat if your Jaffa. Explosive devices will be distributed accordingly by a commanding officer.

13. When making your character review the characters listed in the characters page. This is so you do not duplicate another characters and I don't have to spend all day explaining to you why you can't be what you initially wanted to be.

14. By posting as your character in this game you certify that you have read all of the rules, agree to follow them and you understand that in the event of rule breaking you will be subject to reprimand, suspension or banning.

15. At any time all mods are allowed to change any player's post at their discretion. This only happens in the event that a mod has noticed the breaking of one of these rules. The offending player will be informed of his/her mistake and asked not to repeat it.

16. While alien races are allowed there will be a limit to the number of consistent alien characters among the players.

For Example: I have an Unas character so that means that no one else can play one. This insures that we don't have a surplus of Unas running around.

The same will go for Asgard, Goa'uld, Tok'ra, Wraiths and Taa'Shirin. There may be no limit to Humans and Jaffa but Replicators will be considered a NPC race.
