The Council Chambers
A multitude of red lined chairs stand in a circle in this room where the Masters gather. A large window overlooks the planet of Coruscant, its bustle a stark contrast from the calmness that is prevalent in this room.
With a nod,
Yoda looked at the new padawans standing before him. The three looked to be about the right age, though two had a darker look than he preferred. The third had an almost distracted look about her. Yoda leaned forward in his seat. "A room you have been assigned. In agreement we of the council are. Under the masters you shall train. Questions you have."
Alina stood there, her eyes never leaving the large viewing window. Though she sensed the presence of darkness in her fellow students, she did not say anything. Having been witness to the dark side before, she knew what they were capable of. Alina waited for the other two to respond, wanting to hear from the two who had not been at a Jedi academy before.
Vic-tus bows to the old green jedi. It will be an oner to serve here with the jedi masters. *looks over the other two. thay will be no proble to surpass in my studys, nor to reach my goal. thinks to him self* but master yoda what is it we are to learn here from the masters?
P'yativ took a step towards Yoda, bowing with a wide smile and a flourish. "Thank you Master, you shan't regret your decision" he promised. P'yativ retreated a step and gazed expectantly at the quiet Twi'lek.
Glancing at the other students,
Alina bit her lip hesitantly. "Forgive me, master, but as a student of Almas, I was instructed by all the masters."
Yoda nodded at each student in turn. "The difference between good and evil is what you are to learn, young Vic-tus. Dangerous is the dark side. P'yativ, important is it that you feel you will do your best. Expected this is of all students. All the masters your instructors will be, Alina. Dismissed you all are until you are summoned again."
Vic-tus bowed and turned for the door to walk out. "we will see what the masters can teach." he heaved as he whent out the doorto the training chambers.
Before
P'yativ could introduce himself, Vic-tus had left the room so he turned to Alina instead and held out his hand. "I'm Ura'an P'yativ but I just go by P'yativ. And you're Alina I take it?" he asked.
Alina took his hand and bowed slightly. "Alin'adev, actually. However most everyone simply call me Alina." She glanced at the old master as he watched them. "Are you hungry, P'yativ? Because I certainly am."
P'yativ grinned. "I usually am," he joked. Turning to Yoda, he gave a quick bow and turned to leave.
Alina bowed to Yoda, grinned at P'yativ, and led the way to
The Jedi Dining Hall.
Day Two Posts
Yativ walked into the room with a confident but respectful gait.
Alina followed at a slower pace, almost reluctant to stand in front of the masters.
Master
Windu was the only member of the council present and he looked up at the padawans. "You're here to report," he said simply.
"Yes master,"
Yativ said as he moved into the center of the room and gave a deep bow.
Alina stayed back, her eyes moving to the large window once more.
Mace looked down at Yativ. "Then share. What happened on the planet before the clones arrived?"
"Alina and I stumbled onto a tunnel network where the droids were keeping Togruta innocents captive. After we freed a group of them we found the capital and called for support,"
Yativ over-simplifie
d.
Mace nodded. "Okay. That's easy enough. You are dismissed." He gestured at Alina. "Alin'adev, could you stay for a moment."
Yativ was surprised at the quick dismissal but moved towards the door, casting a backwards glance at Alina.
As soon as P'yativ left, Mace and Alina discussed what she had seen. Not elaborating. Once finished, Alina went to the hall to catch up with P'yativ.
Not noticing her come out, Yativ was pacing the corridor, drumming his fingers along his cheek and his head slightly bowed in thought.
Alina looked over at Yativ and lowered her eyes to the floor. She sank down next to the wall and hugged her knees, her face buried in her arms.
Yativ turned to her with a sad expression. "What is it?" he asked consolingly.
Looking up at him, Alina shook her head. "He knows what I saw. He told me not to let it bother me. But it does anyway. I'm never going to be a good Jedi."
Yativ walked to her and sat against the wall by her side. "All because of the thing's... erh... imagination?"
Alina shook her head. "No. It's because I can't get the images out of my head. Some of the things were awful but I can't stop seeing them."
Yativ was at a loss for what to say. "Well, next time we just kick him instead," he said taking a stab at humor.
Alina looked over at him with a small smile. "We did that, remember?"
"Yes, but next time we only do that," Yativ said.
Alina shook her head again. "But then we wouldn't know anything. We needed that information."
"What information? What didn't we get from just interrogating him?" Yativ asked.
"The location of that doctor," Alina said simply. She jumped up again and looked at Yativ. "Speaking of which, I wanted to go and try to find out what I could about it."
Yativ stood slowly and looked scrutinizingly at Alina before walking towards The Temple Archives.
