THe King In Rags

Child ov Adam!
Speak not ov Change
Ov motion!
Be still, as you would be
Be flesh ov statue
This be the Law!

May the holy wear holy robes forever
May the beggar wear rags forever
Ye shall be as you are

The lords ov the lands
Shall ever wear gold
The Slaves of thy Lord
Shall ever serve

Man shall wear as he will
Slaves shall wear as they can
The Heavens!

Love is the Law
Sayeth the wise
Love thine beggar!
Perchance he hide his crown!

FOOL!

Only in chains will the man
Ever come to understand

Begone mockers
For I am King
Begone laughers
ye shall not laugh eternally
Ye shall cry
for I, The master
Have forsaken ye!

I am Master!
I am forever!
I am the most holy one!
Come triangle forth!
Come in passion and peace
And write with me sweet words for you are King!

This poem is an interpretation of a section in Liber Al Vel Legis (the book of the law)Chapter 2 line 58:
Yea! deem not of change: ye shall be as ye are, & not other. Therefore the kings of the earth shall be Kings for ever: the slaves shall serve. There is none that shall be cast down or lifted up: all is ever as it was. Yet there are masked ones my servants: it may be that yonder beggar is a King. A King may choose his garment as he will: there is no certain test: but a beggar cannot hide his poverty.
