2008-09-10 [The Monochrome Rainbow]: I have been told that as well, but mine has made no effort to bite, much less hiss at me, and I do handle her frequently. Everything I have read says they never tame down as much as a Ball or Red-tail, but so far, she's much tamer than my red-tail.

2008-09-11 [The Monochrome Rainbow]: Mine doesn't even hiss, she's quite active, and inquisitive. Even when I was picking her out of the pile of four babies, only one of them was nippy, and he was bigger than the rest (Greedy one, was probably just hungry)

Boas typically grow very slowly, though my red-tail is exceptionally slow, because he is such a finicky eater. My rainbow eats better than he does. She eats good, every week but when she sheds.
