The Nature of Love

Sometimes love feels like pain, but then I realize that they go
hand in hand
At times I think my heart will break, but then I see
it's all for the one I love
I've been told to hate, to be angry, not to forgive
But how can I?
How can I hate that which I have vowed to
always love?
How can I be angry with that thing I have come to accept,
the sinful nature of Man?
And how? How can I not forgive when I know that
I can be tempted as well
