roleplay below this line

It was the night of the grand opening. Lexy once again polished the crystal glasses that lined the bar to a pearly shine. Polishing had become some sort of obsession recently. There wasn't alot else to do in a pretty much empty bar. After doing the glasses she moved onto the bartop, then the chairs and tables. She glanced up at the clock nervously. Half past 6..only half an hour left until opening. Already a crowd was starting to form outside. "maybe i should have employed help..." She mumbled.
The door swung open, but a crowd didn't come in. The only person who was standing in the door, was a man with long, black hair and a dark blue cloak. The rest of the crowd outside stood behind him, looking scared and confused. The man didn't notice their frightened faces, but walked slowly to the bar, his head raised, and his eyes blinking in the light from the lamps and candles.
"I need something strong," he said and sat down on a chair. "Something that can make me... Oh, just give me something hot and burning."

There came a sound from the crowd and then a women came to sight. She was tall with long brown hair that floated down her back, she was obviosly annoyed. "Can't you see the inn hasen't opened yet?" she said said, her eyes were menacing. "you can stand ouside in the freezing night, dreaming about a good drink and wait just like everybody else."

Lexy wandered over to Raze. "Look you! The inn doesn't officially open for another five minutes and i've not finished the polishing! Everything must be shiny.." She sighed and gave the duster a shake. "Oh well, i guess opening a few minutes early won't hurt anyone." She turned and opened the doors wide. "Bars open people!" Then she turned to Raze with a scowl. "Oh and by the way..learn some manners sweatheart!"

The woman who had first come in looked satisfied as people began to press their way through the door. Let's hope he takes her advice, she thought to herself. There were few people who didn't respect the hand that gave them drink. Turning her attention away from the stranger she quickly ordered "I'll take one Blood of a human Lexy." she said, before she found herself a table in a corner.

"Thats 50 gil, it'll be ready in a minute!"Shouted Lexy from behind the bar, already looking somewhat stressed. She went through to the backroom and opened a small hidden door that led to a darkened room. When she flicked on the light a scene that would be quite at home in a horror movie was revealed. Cages of various animals and humans were stacked up to the roof. You would expect the noise to be deafening but oddly there wasn't a sound. On closer inspection, every creature in the cages was fast asleep. Lexy made her way up to a human male. There was a small tap hanging out of the cage. She turned it on and warm fresh blood ran out which was caught it in a glass. When it was almost full she turned the devise off again. "Thank you Raphel" she whispered, and made her way back up to the bar.

Meanwhile, Raze was trying to get contact with the brown- haired woman.
"A woman with strong opinions, eh? I like that. I'm kind of used to have thing my own way, and I see you feel the same way. What about I buy you the next drink?" He grinned, and sharp teeth blinked in the candlelight.
The woman looked up at him, eyeing him closely, then sighing she asked, "what would you like?"
Raze raised his dark eyebrows. "It's the same for me. I just came here to get me a drink anyway, not some dumb village girl. At least tell me your name," he said and pulled his chair next to hers, turning his head to see if Lexy was around to get him a drink.
Her eyes darkened, then noticing Lexy she shouted to her, "Hey, the stranger wants a drink, give him a glass of water, it's on me," then turning to the man she added, "I am called kazul."
Raze grinned more than ever. "And you're a vampire, arent you? I can see your red eyes.I didn't expect to meet one of your kind here in a mountain village." He kissed her hand. "Nice to meet you, Lady
Vampire."
"Eh...thankyou," she said surprised, "and does the gentleman have a name?"
He looked at her in a strange way. "Let's just keep it a secret for now," he smiled. He turned his head to the bar. "Barkeeeeper! I want a Gryphon bone cocktail!"¨

Suddenly, a dark voice talked from somewhere behind them: "Hi, Sexy." Raze and Kazul turned their heads and looked at the creature that stood before them. And there stood a little, gnomy man, dressed in black leather-pants and a heavy armour. In his left hand, he had a giant ax, and he had a helmet on his head. His eyes were hidden behind a nasty mask. Long, filthy read beard covered his chest, which is good, because he would be pretty naked if it wasn't for that. His eyebrows were unnaturaly thick, almost as thick as the fluffy socks at his feets. His nose was so big that you probably could keep some pretty thick children in it without problems, and he smiled in a way you don't want to see anyone smile.
"Please Cheik, not know, or any other time either, can't you just leave me alone?"Kazul said.
The dwarf looked angry.
"Not you. You, I hate. I ment you. The man." He pointed at Raze whit eyes that still was angry. He striked out his hand.
"I'm Cheik, and I am single."

Lexy emerged from the back with a tall glass of blood for the brown haired girl and a plastic cup full of water. She placed them on the counter. "erm..thats just 50gil please. The waters free." Something short but increadably fat caught her eye in the corner of the room. "Cheik! I havn't seen you for ages!" She called. "You bes not be chatting up my new customers. You'll scare them all away."
"Almost too late for that," Raze muttered. "That ugly little thing." He looked at the dwarf, his eyes full of anger.
He turned to Lexy. "What happened to the Gryphon Bone cocktail?"

"Ok ok ok! Coming right up..jerk." Muttered Lexy clearly getting totally stressed out. "Oh and don't call Cheik ugly. Thats out of order. Unless you want to take it to the battle dome i suggest you buy a muzzle."

Raze looked after Lexy and turned to Cheik with a fake grin. "Sooo, mister Dwarf, where are you from?"

A large griffon bone cocktail slammed down on the bartop next to Raze. "Thats so cruel taking the rip out of Cheik. Hes only little."

Kazul picked up her glass and drank a mouthfull of the blood, putting down the glass she sighed, "Aah! Lovely Lexy just the right tempeture," Then she raised her hands to her mouth and wiped away the remaining blood from her lips, "oops, spilt a bit. Anyhow I should get going, the night is early and I am sure that Cheik would like some time alone with our new..eh..friend" Having said so she stood up and left the inn.

Raze leant back in his chair and took a sip of his coktail. "It's not that I don't LIKE dwarves," he said an nodded in Cheik's direction. "It's not because he's a dwarf I don't like him. It's because he has no respect for me. Doesn't he know who I am?!"

Suddenly, the dwarf talked. He looked extremely angry, as angry as only a dwarf can be. "Hey, you!" He shouted at Raze. "Who do you think you are? Here I am, trying to be nice to an ulgy fellow like yourself, and what do you do? You insult me! Oh, I hate you." He pulls out his ax. "Haven't you noticed that everybody around here loves me?" He blinked to the girls. He looked pretty funny there he stood, with his fat stummach and dirty hair. "You - you are a freak. I shall challenge thee!"

"Oohh things are getting interesting.." said Abyss, leaning over the bar. "I love you Cheik! Erm..but in a friends sort of way..eheh."

Raze laughed. "Let's make a deal, Mister dwarf: I accept the challenge, and if I win, I'll use you as furniture, But if YOU win," his face formed an evil grin,
" I shall treat you with respect, even though you are ugly and fat. Is that a deal?"

Cheik licked at his ax, like if there was blood on it. "That's a deal, you little maggot. But remember - if you make me your furniture, I will make it very uncomfortable for you until you die. Which I hope will be soon. But your respect isn't enough for me! I want a picture of you, too. A naughty one will be lovely," he smiled like he were dreaming. But then, his face changed. "See you in hell."

"Eheh i don't want you to trash the inn sweetheart. Take it outside someplace ok." She tied a phoenix feather to the blade of his axe, then whispered a spell under her breath. The feather burst into flames. "That won't go out until i cast the antispell. Give Raze a nasty burn with it for me will ya?"

Raze turned around fast and looked at Lexy. "Why, oh WHY do you hate me? I promise that if I win, I'll do something awful to you." he snarled and walked out the door.

"I don't hate you Raze, i just strongly dislike you. Oh and as for the awfulness..im looking forward to it." She called after him with a sadistic grin on her face. :)

As cheik ran out the door he bumped into Kazul, he muttered something under his breath before he carried on to the battle Dome. "What was that all about?" kazul asked bewildered as she sat herself down at the nearest table. "I saw raze laughing and talking hysterically outside and was that flames I saw on Cheik's axe?

"Oh they're having a little disagreement." Said Abyss, leaning over the bar. "I enchanted Cheik's axe with a flame spell. A little unfair i know but to be honest..theres something about Raze i just don't like."
"Hmm, I don't know," Kazul said thoughtful, "There is something about him that makes you despise him like a rat rottening away in the best ale from the first moment you see him, but still...still..there is something there that makes you think twice..." She stared out through the window and then sighed heavily, "Ah! I don't know. There is just something..."

"Well he is kinda cute in a twisted sorta way." Said Lexy with a grin. She pulled a furry duster from a draw and began furiously rubbing at a small fingerprint that somebody had left behind on the bartop. "Jeez people are just so careless nowadays."

"Strangely cute isn't the first word that comes to mind when I see him, more a kind of I'm-so-great-I-can-hardly-believe-it-myself-but-I-am-also-really-kind-at-heart look over him." Kazul said staring at the fingerprint as it slowly dissapeared under the scrubbing of Lexy's duster.

"Hmm yeah he has that kinda look about him i guess." She grinned. "Its not like hes fanciable though of course."

"Yes, that's for sure." Kazul said.

There was an uncomfortable silence as the two stared into the distance contemplating Raze's sexiness. "You fancy him!" Said Lexy all of a sudden. "Ive seen that longing stare before!"

"What?!" kazul shouted astonished, "I most certainly do not! I mean...I mean...that would be totally absurbed! Just take his hair for example! It looks as if it hasn't been washed for months, and it probaly hasn't either! it's Chiek that likes those dirty wildmen not me!" She continued waving her arms around as if trying to enlargen the crazyness in the whole affair.

Lexy collapsed behind the bar in a fit of giggles. "Don't get so wound up i was only pulling your leg. You two did seem pretty close though before he buggered off."

The door swung open again and Raze came in, carrying a dirty Cheik. He grinned to the two girls. "Have you missed me? I won, so this dwarf is now one of my companions. Hah, he wasn't hard to beat. Why are you looking so strange, lady Vampire?" he asked when he saw Kazul, but he didn't ask in a very kind way.

"Maybe because you are bleeding from your left arm," Kazul said quickly, then regaining her self control she continued, "you boys weren't gone that long, what happened?"

"Cheik fell over and broke his own back," Raze muttered. "And the town is quite boring, so I thought I'd go back to my to lovely ladies!" He put his arms around Kazul and Lexy.

Kazul tramped on his foot and he fell backwards staggering. "Sorry," kazul said, "you just came to remind me of this one angel who had once tried to check me up, he didn't live very long after that." she grinned.
Raze's smile faded. When he talked again, his voice was low. "An angel, eh? Who would have thought that?" He turned away from the ladies and sat down on a chair in the darkest corner of the tavern.

Kazul looked at Raze sitting thoughtful in his corner, then she turned to Lexy. "What was that al about?" She asked.

"Don't ask me," said Lexy, smoothing out her dress where Raze's hands had been. "Oh ill wash and wash but never be clean." She whispered with a grin. The barmaid gazed up at the antique clock on the far wall and a troubled axpression crossed her face. She clicked her fingers and a brass bell appeared in her hand. She then stood rather shakily up on the bartop and called out at the top of her voice. "Everyone out. Theres a meeting in the tactics room commencing in five."

Raze stepped out of the shadows again. "I'll gather everyone. This is something I've waited for a long time," he said and walked out the door.

"The tactics room!" Kazul explained with joy, "Blood for me!" She shouted enthusiasticly before following Raze.

After returning from the "Blessed Realm"

"Ah! I've missed that smell! The smell of sweet sweat and old carcases, oh yes, lovely. Hmm....I wonder if Lexy will notice anything if I take a glass of blood, probably not." Kazul said and tiptoed over to the counter, then taking a look around to make sure everyone was sound asleep by their rotten ales she slid behind and into the backroom. "Ah, Raphel, it's sure good to see you" She said and turned the tap letting the blood trickle into the glass. Then she returned to the room and sat herself down on the table.

A loud crack sounded through the room, and Raze appeared. He was angry, more angry than Kazul had never seen him before.

Lexy followed by a slightly more convesional way (the door). "That has to be the most embarrassing raid ever experienced in the millenia of demonkind." She mumbled, walking back behind the bar and taking up her post at the counter. "I can't believe you were chatting up that angelic little tart!" She gave raze a glare. Something was wrong, or rather..missing. Lexy's thief detection skills were second to none-somebody was in the celler. She tiptoed down the stairs behind the bar with her dagger at the ready. "Whoever dares to nick my valuable ale had better prepare for a whooping of the ass," she shouted into the darkness.

raze still looked angry, but now he grinned."You have to get some rest, my darling, or you will get just as paranoid as I am. And I TOLD you that there was noe reason to get jealous... Lexy?! What are you doing? Lexy!"

"Ok! Ok! I'm right here. Now need to cut my eye out with that thing!" Kazul said backing away from the dagger that had almost removed her eye. "I was thirsty that's all." She said and threw a couple of gils over to Lexy. "The most embaressing one eh? I think you're right. Next time I say we make a bomb. Put it in a cake and give it to our good friend, the stinking dragon of oh-look-at-me-I'm-just-absolutly-wonderful-I-truly-am"

"hah sounds good!" Said Lexy, drowing her sorrows in a large glass of vodka. "Raze, i feel unloved. You like that girl more than meee!" She said with a splutter and a sob before falling asleep on the table.

Raze helped himself with some strong alcohol in the bar and sat down on a chair. "You ladies can't deny it: You love me, and I can't blame you. I'm wonderful. Since Lexy here has passed out, do you care for a dance, Lady Vampire?" He reached out a pale hand.

Kazul glared at him eveily and then bit his outstreched arm. "I bet you can't even dance." She said laughing as Raze's hand started to bleed. "No, what I want to do is fight. So what do you say, shall we?" She said and bowed to Raze.

Raze sighed and licked the wounds. They faded in seconds.
"That's what I like about you, Lady Vampire. You're not afraid to get some dirt under you nails." He drew his sword and polished it with a towel from the bar. "After you, Lady Vampire," he said and gazed at his sword as it was his first-born baby.

"Of to the Battle dome then!" Kazul smiled. Then she walked over to Lexy and gently woke her up. "Hey Lexy, me and your sweetheart are going over to the battle Dome to have the fun we didn't have while we were in the 7th heaven inn. You coming?" Then she walked out into the night and headed towards the Dome.

"Mmmuhhuu wha..?" Mumbled Lexy as Kazul dragged her off to the dome. "lesh tag team my unfaithful loversh ash." She said with a drunken smile.
--------------------------------

A much less drunk much more tired Lexy walked back into the inn and sat down at the nearest available chair. "Well that was fun..not."
Raze appeared right behind the chair with a little poof. "Oh, calm down, you're just a poor loser. But I'd be happy to cheer you up if you want to."
He leaned over her shoulder and grinned evily.

Kazul shoved open the doors and paraded in. "Now, that was fun. I bet the stupid heavenly angels never experience things like that. Friend against friend, foe against foe, friend against foe and well...you get the idea." She said and slipped down exhusted onto the nearest chair.

Lexy blinked. "Ah Raze my love, you could give me a foot massage if you like. That would cheer me up :)!"
Raze laughed. "Normally, I wouldn't give someone a foot massage even if my life depended on it, but I seem to be softer man than before... Oh well. Get those stinky boots off."

"Yay! I like the new soft you," said Lexy," Oh and just for the record they don't smell. Some of us enjoy regular baths." With that she kicked off her boots and lounged back on a big comfy dragon skin chair. "Begin Raze"

"What if I just tickle you toes with this knife? I still haven't met a single girl who doesn't fall in my arms when I do that."
He stroke the blade gently and smiled as evily as he was able to.

Kazul stood up from the chair and left the comfy chair wwhich she had been sitting in. She went over to the counter and got the spitjar and through the containents over Lexy and Raze. "Oops, sorry, don't know why that happened, maybe it was because you where both acting pathetic..."

Raze thrwe her over the counter with a swift hand movement. "Dont' get jealous Kazul, I'm just cutting of her toes. Want me to dry that up for you?" he added and pointed on the little stream of blood running down Kazul's cheek.

-.-' "That has got to be the single most gross thing thats happened to me this year," Said Lexy, whispering a cleaning spell. "You have to learn some manners Kazul. Don't worry, you'll find a man someday..somebody has to come in at some point who is both blind and stupid."

"Charming," Kazul muttered."I was just having some fun. And I can take care of myself thankyou very much." She took up a pocket handkerchief and wiped her cheek.

Raze stretched and looked around. "Everyone is gone. I bet the angels took them, and they are now being tormented to death. Especially the ugly dwarf....Harr harr." He looked very pleased at the thought og hour-long torment.

"Not nice Raze," said Lexy, "what if poor defenseless Cheik really is being held by angels. Wouldn't you feel really bad for not going out to find him."

"Now you are stupid, woman. You should know me better by now."

Lexy smiled. "Thats what i love about you Raze. You're so...i don't know what but i like it." She poured herself a quadruple vodka from the tap and gulped it down. "Oh Raze my love, i understand that such a glass of vodka can do no good for me but i want to express my love for you free from the constraints of inhibitions." She slammed the empty glass down and wrapped her hands around his waist, gazing deep into his confused and very scared eyes then without warning kissed him full on the lips.

Raze looked suprised, but didn't try to push her away. Instead, he stroked the blade of his sword, which was a pretty weird thing to do, since he should have been stroking Lexy instead.
"And I thought you hated me," he gasped.

"I do my darling. Thats what keeps the spark in our relationship doncha thing?" She delecately lifted his hand from the sword and wrapped it round her hips instead. "That better?" She gave Kazul a smug grin and turned back to Raze.

Raze didn't know what to say. Women normally didn't do this if he hadn't stalked and annoyed them a while. This was a whole new situation for him. He hadn't forced Lexy to do anything!

"Should I maybe leave you to alone?" Kazul asked with a grin.

"If you want..or you could stay and watch it you're into that kind of thing."

"Not unless raze is thinking of sticking that sword through you. Now, that would be something worth watching!" Kazul said and waited hopefully.

Raze was about to faint.

"I know something he could do with that sword." Said Lexy with a grin. Raze was beginning to look a little pale even for a vampire. "Would you like a little light refreshment, you look rather pale," she said exposing her neck thoughtfully.

"I could alway find an other spitjar." Kazul said helpfully.

Raze stepped away from her.
"Even though I would love to...ehm, suck your blood and all that, I am not a vampire. I am a demon. We don't do...blood. I need some fresh air."
He disappeared out the door.

"Looks like you scared him away Lexy. And scaring away him isn't easy, well done." Kazul said half smiling.

"Aww :( thats not good. Raze is the only man in the whole of the guild."

"That's not completely true." Kazul said, "Chiek is a man as well." She paused, "Where is Cheik?"

"I havn't seen him for ages. Maybe he got eaten by something."

"I suppose that wouldn't be anything to be upset over." Kazul said. She took a chair from the nearest table and sat down in it. "there's notmuch going on in this part of the world right now is there?" She said and sighed deeply.

A young demon lands on the doorstep and opens the door, carefully folding her wings before entering. She hesitates in the doorway before closing the door behind her, then selects a table at which to sit at. She sits down, catching one edge of a wing on the chair. She stands up and repositions the wings, then sits down again, getting comfortable. She studies the drink menu, one hand pushes her hair back behind her ear. "Hmmm...." she makes a sound to herself, then checks her money bag, to find that she has only Nerenian currency.

Lexy gave the newcomer a funny look and an even funnier look at her currency. "We don't accept monopoly money here stranger," she said with a smirk. Winged demons were a rarity even here. They were regarded with suspicion and inferiority.

"I figured as much." the winged demon replied, lokking up at Lexy with a venomous glare. "And as a formality more than anything else, I am Sikkahnnus Khorius, not..." Sikkahnnus narrowed her eyes further "...stranger...". She turned away from the barkeeper, put her money bag away, and took a small flask from a pouch under one of her wings. After taking a long drink, she replaced the flask into the pouch and rest her head on her arms, letting her expansive wings rest at her sides.

The door was flung open, and Raze tumbled in. He was waving his sword and looked deeply offended. "Don't you ever call me a wannabe-goth again!" he shouted to someone outside and kicked the door.
"He won't do it again, he has no head anymore." Raze grinned and wiped the blood his sword. "Lexy, I am sorry about... Hey, a newcomer! A pretty one too, it seems."
He smirked and sat down next to the new guest.

Kazul sighed and rolled her eyes. "This isn't a way to greet a str...eh..I mean Sikkahnnus Khorius. Shame on you both." She turned to meat the winged demon. "I am Kazul, the snobby barkeeper is Lexy and that thing that just came in the door is Raze, he's got a rough past so we have to give him some slack. Maybe I could buy you a drink....for some information?" She asked.

Sikkahnnus looks up, somewhat surprised at Kazuls kindness. Although apprehenisve, she nods slightly, her blank expression unchanged. "What might it be that you need to know?" She asks with a quick glance at Raze. She shifts the position of her wings so that one wing separates her and Raze, whom has sat much too close to her.

Raze stood up and helpd himself with something strong from the bar. "So, tell us about yourself, darling." He gritted his sharp, white teeth.

"Where do you come from? It's not every day we see a new face. Infact the last time that happened was at the opening of the inn when Raze appeared..."Kazul said.

Lexy shot Raze an evil glare and wandered off to polish the glasses. She gave a sigh and watched the stranger talk with Kazul. What were they talking about? The whispers were too faint to hear from the bar. Whatever it was..Raze didn't look welcome. This brought a grin to her face at least.

"I come from...eh...well, it's an odd concept. It's called Something. It's sort of an in-between place. I was thrown into...um...I'm just a...a wanderer now." Sikkahnnus struggles for words to describe her homeland, shifting her wings somewhat uncomfortably.

"Don't worry if it's to hard to explain you don't have to. But how did you get here?" Kazul asked.

"Wrong place at the wrong time. I was on my way to Torr to ask the Empress there, who's a planewalker, to help me open a rift back to Neres, but I just found out that she's dead. So, I'm stuck here until the dimensions shift and times intersect again...a few years maybe." Sikkahnnus explains. She leans back slightly in her chair and takes another swig from her flask, emptying it. "Was that the information you were looking for?" she asks Kazul, putting the now empty flask back into her pouch.

Raze stretched himself. "That sounds like a really good adventure to me. This place is boring, and all our old companions have been eaten by something horrible. It's just me and the two pretty ladies left. The dwarf is dead, though. Mwahaha."

"We don't know that," Shouted Lexy from the bar, "it's just that you won't go look for him."

"What's a dwarf? Sounds like a plant I had back home." Sikkahnnus inquires.

"I think dwarf means fat, little and ugly. Good thing you're tall Raze." Kazul smiled. "That's more or less the information I was wanting. Do you drink blood, i must admit that the blood Lexy serves is some of the best I have tasted, I'll buy you a round."

Raze laughed evily. "Dwaves are annoying creatures. I hope Cheik is dead." He looked bored. "I want to do something. Make me amused. Let's find a treasure!"

Ignoring Raze, Sikkahnnus crosses her legs so that the slit in her dress opens and leaves her thigh exposed. She leanes forward and says quietly, with a quick glance at Lexy "Only the blood of soul-stealers." Sikkahnnus sits back in her chair again, still looking over at Lexy.

Kazul coughed, feeling the tension in the room. "Then try the silver essence, Lexy could you pour up some?" She turned to Raze, more to try to ease things up than being very interested in what he had to say and asked, "Treasure hunt? Do you have a map maybe?"

"No, but I know someone who can get hold of one. Anyone interested?"

Everybody ignored him.

Lexy raised an eyebrow at Sikahnnus. "As if anybody would stock that stuff, it's foul. I can however do silver essence. Thats 460gil for the two of you."

"That's debateable. Personally, and, well, the rest of my kind, we find human blood to be rather...destestable." Sikkahnnus says in a low growl.

"you know someone?" kazul asked Raze trying as hard as she could to sound interested in it. "Please tell us, and here you go Lexy, I took a couple of moneybags when we were in the the more "heavenly" inn." She said and handed her a small leather bag with silver gils in it.

"Thank you, Kazul." Sikkahnnus says, examining the strange drink. "So...do you know of anywhere I can stay until I can get back?" she inquires, looking across the table at Kazul and sipping the drink cautiously.

"I'm sure you could lend a room at the in here isn't that right Lexy?" Kazul said, but before Lexy could answer she continued, "Great, I new you would say yes."

Raze smashed his feet on the table. "Wait a minute. How do we know that we can trust her? Don't give your hand to something that might bite you, I say. A night in the wild outdoors will do her well. Tomorrow, we see if we find her... worthy."

Sikkahnnus looked over at Raze, and took another long sip from her drink. She made eye contact, her face expressionless and hardened. "So..." she said smoothly, "Is that a challenge?".

"I must admit," Kazul said thoughtfully and took a long sip of her drink, "that Raze might be right. Oops, did I say that out loud? Anyway, are you willing to sleep outside in the town outskirts tonight to prove to us that we can trust you?" Kazul asked. "It's a rough place with all sorts of....well, let's just call them...unfriendly creatures."

Sikkahnnus considered this for a moment, finishing off her drink thoughtfully. "Very well, I accept your challenge. Lead me to where you want me to stay, and I will spend the night." Sikkahnnus says, placing her empty glass on the table and standing up.

Kazul put down her half finished drink and stood up aswell. "Kan I trust you Raze, to take Sikkahnnus to the The dragon's arms inn? Me and lexy will meet you there." She said and looked at Lexy to see if she agreed.

Raze sighed. "I will. I'm so bored I hardly can believe it myself. What kind of place is that?"

"It's the inn at the town outskirts. Not a place to be very proud of." She smiled.

Sikkahnnus nods and heads towards the doorway, knocking her chair over with a wing as she passed.

Raze stood up and followed her with a big smirk on his face.

Lexy closed up the till quickly and ran round the back, where her fully saddled black winged dragon was sleeping peacefully. She jumped aboard and poked it till it woke up. "To the dragon's arms!"
------------------------------------
After several lonely hours, life began to stir once again in the inn. Out of nothingness, Lexy materialised standing on top of the bar. She glanced around quick to check that nothing had gone missing while she had been gone and breathed a sigh of relief when she realised eveything was where it should be.

Raze popped out of thin air beside her and stretched. "I really think we should have the fight INSIDE the inn. That would have been interesting, and maybe some inncocent people get hurt." He yawned.

Sikkahnnus reappears inside the inn. "Sorry guys, but I'll have to come back later." she says quickly, a fearful expression on her face. "One of my friends is in danger. I'll be in the dungeon cells, if you wish to follow me." she finishes, then disappears.

Kazul had appeared just in time to here sikkahnnus' last words. "I hope i don't seem to heartless if I don't follow. She's a big girl and can take care of herself and I'm thirsty. Any chance of getting a drink Lexy?" She said throwing herself down onto a nearby chair.

"What will you be having?" Said Lexy at the pumps.

"A fruit juice sounds nice, could I get it with a cute little strawberry on the side?" Kazul asked hopeful.

Raze laughed. "Aren't you a vampire?"

"This isn't the Ritz Kazul."Said Lexy, pouring her a glass of ale.

Sikkahnnus returns a few hours later, now looking tired and somewhat distressed. "Hello all. I am back." she states as she steps through the door. She quickly finds a seat and sits down. "Lexy, could I get a glass of Phoenix blood? I got some money while I was out." Sikkahnnus calls to Lexy.

"How did it go Sikkahnnus? Kill anybody?" Kazul asked politely.

"Heh heh...no. But, I have a permanant home for my Tribe now in Enderthen II, making me no longer Queen of them." Sikkahnnus sighs. "Mind if I hang around for a while?"

"I'm sure Lexy will be thrilled. Won't you Lexy?" Kazul said looking over to where she stood behind the counter.

Raze muttered something rude and started to get a bit drunk. He polished his sword and looked at Lexy with big, blank (and drunk) eyes. "I...love youh, Lexschy." He started to carve a heart into the table with his sword.

"Oh Raze.I love you too!" Said Lexy as she poured a white hot glass of phoenix blood. "Shame you only tell me when you're drunk."

"It's been said that you only hear the truth from children and drunk men." Kazul said.

"Well im not a child or a man and i tell the truth."

"Yes, SURE you are."
Raze had not been so bored since last saturday. He started carving more symbols into the wood of the table, while he hummed an old love song. He carved a really nice octopus, a little tree, and a sad owl.
He lent back and looked satisfied on the carvings.
"We all lie. All the time. It is in our nature to lie, and you can't deny it, Lexy."
All these poetic words melted his drunkness away.

In through the bar doors walks Raven. He was either very courageous or stupid. After all this was a place where humans were kept in stock to feed demons of all sorts, but he had business to discuss and was never one to worry about death. Standing there looking around as if waiting for death himself to greet him he shouted out, " does anyone know where I can find lexy?"
He started to wonder if this was such a good idea. The firery stares' of the demons were enough to scare the most courageous of warriors off, but he was no warrior. Neither was he an innocent human though. He was known as Raven and was feared by many mortals, for he was a ruthless killer. Sometimes he would kill for money or sometimes just for pleasure. None of that ment anything here though. The damned could care less about the world of mortals.

Raze looked up at the newcommer with an evil smile. "She's behind the desk, stranger. But may I ask you one question before you enter: Why are you and what do you want with MY woman?!"
Raze suddenly stood up and waved in Lexy's direction, when he suddenly sniffed into the air.
"You're a mortal, aren't you? Oh my. That's sad. For you," he added, almost cheerfully.

Knowing that if he wanted to survive the night he would have to play his words right, Raven boldly stated, “give me a chance to explain myself, then you may do with me what you wish for I do not fear death, I welcome it with open arms.” Was it such a good idea to be so bold Raven wondered. This was not a place of mortals; he held no control or fear over the damned. The countless stories of people being abducted by demons are what led him here. He wanted their power. He seen how people fear them and no matter how many people he killed or how gruesome he killed them he was always over shadowed by them. His name would be mentioned on and off, but that wasn’t what he wanted. He wanted people to cower in fear when his name was mentioned.
After he spoke his bold words he watched the demon’s fiery glaze for any sign of an on coming attack, not that it would do him any good, he was defenseless. If they wanted him dead there was nothing he could do. He spoke again boldly, but wondered if this time it would cost him his life, “ I have business I would like discuss with Lexy, may I speak with her or do I have to state my business with you first?” He wondered if the demon would answer him or if he just spoke his last words.

Raze was fascinated by this man, and decided not to rip his heart out. Instead, he scanned him from head to toe with a suspicious look.
"I guess you are free to speak to Lexy. I don't decide what she does and doesn't. Even though I wish I could," he added. "But tell me first; Who are you to walk into the... world of demons?" he waved his hand around the room to state the fact that Raven actually WAS in the world of demons.

"You can call me Raven, and I am no stranger to the world of demons. I lay low, out of site out of mind if you know what I mean, but I am there. I watch with enjoyment as the wings of the holy are ripped from angels by the hands of demons." Raven said with detest in his voice.
"I hate what you hate or to put it better, the enemy of my enemy is my friend."
He could feel the hungry stares of vampires and demons weighing down on him. He started to wonder how much longer it would be before they tore him limb from limb. Raven came here to barter with demons, but he started to wonder if it was his life he was bartering for.

Kazul had been watching the conversation with interest. She suddenly felt hungry but thought it better than to mess up Lexy's common room. Instead she took a glass from a table nearby and ignored the angry voices. They soon fadede away anyway. "Go right ahead mortal." She said and pointed towards behind the counter where Lexy stood.

After a long time in silence Kazul decided it was about time to take matters into her own hands. "Are you going to talk to Lexy or not? We haven't got all day. Beasts to fight, angels to kill, you know, those sort of things."

2005-08-03 [Fractured Memories]: I just posted my first writing to the story. How was my introduction?

2005-08-04 [DracoDormiens]: Aaawgh, hello? Flaming is gone over the weekend, and [Fractured Memories] and I can't roleplay all alone! Hello?

2005-08-12 [Forsvunnet]: Voila! I am back! After a much to lang break nut anywho....

2006-05-18 [Candle Jack]: wow, where do i sign up?

2006-05-29 [Fractured Memories]: I want to start writing again....come on people

2006-05-30 [Forsvunnet]: I'm game. I had the last entry though. Draco, you should do something entertaining!

2006-05-30 [DracoDormiens]: Well, I have kinda forgotten what we were doing at the moment... heh. Lete me read the whole thing through.

2006-05-30 [Fractured Memories]: Who plays Kazul?...I forgot who plays what....What page was it that had everyones character?

2006-05-31 [Forsvunnet]: I'm Kazul. Just go to the top of the page where it sais Guild of the Damned.

2006-06-01 [Fractured Memories]: What should we do? Should we start new? abyss_angel has not logged in, in 200 days. I just want to write.

2006-06-01 [DracoDormiens]: The smartest thing to do would be to start over again, as I suspect Abyss has left ET for good... Perhaps with the same characters, but with a much better plot than this one :) We can just agree on a good plot, get some people, make a wiki and start playing for ourselves! Jah?

2006-06-01 [Fractured Memories]: Let's open up with some ideas. like the setting and plot. Any takers?

2006-06-01 [DracoDormiens]: I would have to think about that... But I see the setting in kinda a classic fantasy environment, not all sci-fi with spaceships and cool laser-canons ^^ Plot, I'd need to figure out.

2006-06-01 [Fractured Memories]: Like a Kingdom...Kingdom of light....protected by the holy....there is unrest brewing...resentment....what do you think?

2006-06-01 [Rice]: .....maybe you should just make a fantas rpg where anything can happen. Like a sort of quest either for dark or light. I woldnt make it to complecated.

2006-06-01 [Fractured Memories]: That's a good idea....should we write a little history about our characters or should we go right into a story and let our characters develope?

2006-06-02 [Fractured Memories]: We need some more people too...can anyone grab some friends? We should start a new page soon

2006-06-02 [DracoDormiens]: The only people I know in real life on ET, are 14 year old retards... Advertise in your houses, people! As for the plot, Race is kinda evil, so he wouldn't do so good in a kingdom protected by light :) I think there must be war and stuff!

2006-06-03 [Forsvunnet]: What if we just start with a location and we can just build upon that. Like in an improvisation...A castle ruin or something would do....

2006-06-03 [DracoDormiens]: What should we have done without YOU, Flaming? *hugs* Well, who wants to be the wiki-builder?

2006-06-03 [Fractured Memories]: I'm not experienced in building that kind of stuff, as you can probably tell from my House. I would like to learn and have some interesting ideas, but for now I think someone else should build it.
