The fortress of pillars as it is now called by the Druchii, was once known as the Eternal peak. This vast underground mountain fortress was the crowning acheivement of the Dwarves. And then the Druchii came. A bitter war that lasted nearly one hundred years saw the Dwarves driven out. Now it is the cheif stronghold for the Druchii, but the ratmen are not one to be unified so easily. Weakened by the wars with the Dwarves, a civil war saw them further weakened to a point where one Clantail Skytheer estimated that they would destroy themselves within a month. Fortunately for them the Dwarves launched small counter attack, reclaiming parts of it but not all. This poses a great risk to the Dwarves for the Eternal peak directly on the vast underground road system the Dwarves use for travel. This has led to many an underground battle.
