The rest of the city

Well, this is the rest of the city, where both werewolves and vamps go to feed. Several smaller fights are pretty usual here.. Of course the humans live here, some of them know about the 3 other races, others dont...

Here you all can also be random people, to kill or whatever.. XD

Kamara nodded and waited. When Evel came back she took a little bite of the hotdog. She chewed it slowly, it tasted so strange! but good. "Wow!" Kamara smiled wide. "I think I can deal with being 'human' for some hours! Your food's great!"

Evel grinned some. "Not really.. it's not healthy."

"It's not? How can something this good not be healthy?" Kamara said with her mouth full.

"Lot's of things arn't.. it's too much fat and weird ingredients in it."

"Fat?" Kamara tilted her head. "I dont understand.." She took the last bite, chewing it happily.

"Let's just say that if you eat too much of it every few days you might get sick ad actually die." Ever tried to explain. "But one or two isn't any problem.."

"Oh!" Kamara stared at Evel. "So, what do you do for fun?" She looked around. "And why do you humans walk in groups?"

"I guess we're pack-animals.. It's safer and more pleasant in a group that you know well and trust, than going alone." He thought about her first question. "We... uh.. rent movies, does sports, go to theme parks and just spend time with each other..I guess.." the question got him a bit confused.

"I see.." she looked thoughtfull. "I dont know what movies, sports or theme parks are, but ok.." Kamara smiled. "You humans have lots of funny words.." She giggled.

"We can watch a movie..I have a few at home." He smiled.

"Ok! How do we watch a movie? I mean.. what is a movie?" She tilted her head and just started walking.

He walked with her and steered them to his home. "You'll see.. it's.. like a story. And it's told by moving pictures.." he hoped he didn't sound too silly.

"ok, it's probably fun..." Kamara nodded. "When we tell stories, we sit around a fire. And the eldest throws this magic sand into the fire. That makes the smoke take forms as the creatures they tell stories about."

"Really? That sounds amazing..."

"I guess it is cool. I dont know how they do it though.. I wont learn that untill I'm atleast 250 years. And it takes about a 100 years to learn.." she shrugged.

"How old are you?" he aked bluntly. They had almost reached his appartment now.

"23.." Kamara smiled. "I'm just a child.. how old are you?"

"20.. I think." he shrugged. "That's adult for us.."

"You think?" Kamara looked at Evel.

He shrugged again. "I don't really know. An old man, Tankime, found me when I was a child. He guessed I was 5 or so, so that would make me about 20 now."

"You dont know where you're from..?" Kamara seemed interested, and very curious. "How can that be? You never knew your parents?"

"I can't remember them."

"That's sad..." Kamara sighed. "so... where do you live?"

"Up here." He entered the portcode and opened the door for her.

"Your shelters are so big!" Kamara commented as she entered.

"Oh, this isn't all mine.. here, this is my appartment.." He opened the door to his small, old but fairly clean home.

She looked around. "Still bigger than our shelters.. we have one room.." Kamara said.

"Oh? Well... this is just a one room too.. with kitchen and bath. It's really small..Do you want anything to drink? I have..eh.. water and milk.." he looked a bit sheepish, he hadn't thought of getting anything.

"Milk? Goatmilk?" She tilted her head slightly. "I love goatmilk.." Kamara smiled.

"No..cow milk.. You still want some?" He opened the fridge.

"Sure, I've never had cowmilk. what is a cow?" Kamara sat down on the floor. She looked at the funny things Evel had in his house. He did have something that looked like their chairs, but they were way to tall. And his table were to tall, so she decided she'd sit on the floor instead.

"Uhm.. it's an animal.. and please sit on the couch.." He showed in a generl direction to the couch. "I'll get the milk."

"Oh." Kamara got up and sat down on the couch. "why is it that you humans have such tall furniture?" She asked Evel while she waited for the milk.

"I suppose we like to sit without benduing our legs too much...or keeping them too straight. It's just comfortable." He gave her the milk and took a box with movies. "Uhm..chose one?"

Kamara looked at the covers. "Ehm.." She had no idea how to read those strange letters. She found a cover with a picture of a man with a huge gun on. "What is this?"

"An action movie.. lots of violence.."

"ooh..?" Kamara looked up at Evel. "is it any fun?"

"That depends on who you ask.. I'm not sure you'd like it.." he looked at a few other films. "Uh.. do you like horses? We could watch Black Beauty.."

"Horse?" Kamara tilted her head, her eyes curious. "I guess..." She smiled and took a sip of the milk. "Oh.."

He figured that he wouldn't find out unless he actually started a movi, so he pushed it in and let it play. "Anything wrong?" he asked as he turned his head to look at her.

"This milk tastes really good!" Kamara smiled brightly and drank some more. "This is way better than goat milk!" She looked at the glass, as if to analyze the liquid.

He smiled relieved. "I'm glad you like it." The movie had started, showing the black foal getting born and the voice that was supposed to be his thoughts was starting to tell his tale through the speakers.

Kamara got up, and walked over to the TV. She touched the screen. "Wow, you humans are cruel.. Why do you trap animals inside a box?" She looked at Evel.

"Trap? Oh.. it's not trapped, it's just a picture of it." he smiled.

"Oh, a moving painting?" She said fascinated. Kamara went back to the sofa and sat down. "You humans sure have alot of strange stuff..."

He smiled. "Sort of a moving painting, yes." He looked around the room and realized how boring his apparment was, and ho dark. "I'm sure you have a lot of interesting and unusual things too." he said as heopened the windowshields a bit to let some light in.

"Not really.." Kamara sighed. "The village is boring, nothing new to do. I like it here! Cant I just live here for a few days?" She gave him a bright smile.

He stared at her. "Eh..well..sure I guess..."

"Wooo!" Kamara smiled. "I'm gonna live in the human village!"

"I'm not gonna get in trouble for letting you stay, I hope?" he didn't fancy a bunch of angry elves hunting him down.

"Nah, I dont think so.." Kamara smiled. "And besides, I'm not that important to them, so dont worry.." She looked out of the window.

"Well, alright then.." he was a bit confused by the turns things took, but smiled. "What do you want to do when you're here?"

"Eh, what do you humans do for fun?" She looked at Evel. "I dont know anything about the human world..." She had totally forgotten about the movie they were watching.

"We..watch movies, go online..I dunno... well, there's a party at my friends house tonight, we could go there?" he suggested.

"Party?" Kamara lit up. "Yeah! We elves have parties also! It would be fun!"

"Ok then.. we'll go there.. uhm..do you drink?"

"Uh, yeah... or else I would be really thirsty.." Kamara nodded.

"No, I mean..err, drink alcohol? Like..eh.. vodka, wine, whisky..or anyting?"

"what's that?" Kamara looked curious. "Can I taste?"

"Sure you can..but..eh.. it kinda affects you so mabe you shouldn't try too much the first time.. you might do things you'll regret."

"oh..? Hmm, sounds scary....." Kamara said. "You have any?"

"Not here, but they will at the party. Don't drink anything anyone gives you, except the welcome drink." He had a crooked smile. "Some of those guys wouldn't mind spiking the drink wirg exctacy or something."

"With what?" Kamara tilted her head slightly to the left. "I dont understand.."

"Drugs.. that's worse than alcohol." He smiled. "Just keep an eye on your drinks."

"o...k.." Kamara nodded thoughfully. "Wow.. you humans are mean to eachother..We elves would never do mean things to eachother unless our prides were hurt.."

Evel shrugged. "It's not really to be mean. The people taking drugs just think it's more fun if the others takes drugs too.."

"Oh.." Kamara looked thoughtfull. "So, when the humans take...drugs... they get alittle stranger? Stranger than they allready are?"

"Well..yes.. they get high...some drugs gives halucinations and some ust makes them feel ..very energic.."

"Wow.. hmm, I dont think I like that.." she sounded insecure. "You sure they're harmless?"

"No, they're not. And you get addicted to them..that's why I want you to watch over your drink so nobody puts one of them in it.."

"I meant the people who drinks the drugs.. " Kamara smiled foolishly.

"Oh.." he felt stupid. "Well, yeah most of them are my friends.. but just say no if they try to do anything.."

"Oh.. ok.." Kamara smiled. "let's go!" She said eagerly.

The dog sniffed the chocolate a few times, to show be boy he really wanted it. He kept wagging his tail as he entered the boys apartment. Jason knew he'd get the necklace. He felt so excited! He almost forgot to pretend his leg hurt. He got alittle closer to he boy, pretending he wanted him to pet him.

Benjamin closed the door to his apartment then turned to the dog. He knelt down, his hand outstretched to stroke the dog. "Your so well behaved, I wonder if you belong to someone. I guess i'll put up some posters and see if anyone responds." he said talking to the animal.

Jason barked a few times, and then bit his own tail. Then he went straight for the couch and jumped up. He looked at the boy, barking a few times, then he lied down. The dog looked at the boy with big eyes, showing him that he really liked lying there.

Benjamin laughed when the dog jumped up on the couch. "Alright, you can sleep up there tonight." he said through his laughter. He wandered into the kitchen and poured water into a bowl for the animal then grabbed the leftover lasagne from the night before and scrapped it into another bowl. "This will have to do..." he said to himself as he returned to the living room and set the bowls down on the floor. "Theres your supper." he said with a smile as he walked to the dog and knelt down in front of it patting its head. "Sorry its not great, but i'll get you some proper dog food tomorrow."

The dog ate the food as if it had never tasted something as good as the lasagne. But the truth was tha Jason didnt really like it. After finishing the lasagne, the dog drank all of the water, then placed himself comfortly on the cough.

Whilst the dog ate, Benjamin decided to have a shower and change from his work things. He changed into an old pair of jeans and a tshirt, the necklace still round his neck. He re-entered the living room, rubbing his hair with a towel yawning as he did. He flopped down on the space beside the dog on the couch and reached for the tv remote. "Glad you liked it." he said with a smile as he glanced at the empty food bowl before switching the tv on.

The dog looked at the TV, barking. Then he placed his head on Benjamins lap, wanting him to pet him. Jason hoped the boy would fall alseep, so that he could get that stupid necklace.

"Good dog." Benjamin said through another yawn as he patted the dog gently with a smile. He watched tv for a few hours then slowly his head drooped forward onto his chest and his slow breathing indicated that he had fallen asleep.

Jason watched the boy sleep for a while, then he got up and looked for the lock on the necklace. He tried to do so, without touching the boy, or wake him.

Benjamin pushed the dog away, groaning about not wanting to be woke up as he rolled over in his sleep. "It's not morning yet..." he grumbled before letting out a snore.

Jason kept looking for the lock, hopefully the boy just woke uå halfly and fell asleep again. He couldnt find it! He changed back to his human form, hoping to God that the boy wouldnt wake up. He went over to the lightswithc and turned off all lights. This way it was harder for the boy to see who it was, if he woke up.

Benjamins eyes snapped open when the lights switched off. "Huh?" he said groggily as he sat up staring at the lightbulb in the ceiling not noticing Jason at first. He turned to check on the dog and was surprised when he found it wasn't there. His eyes scanned the room then stopped suddenly on the dark figure standing by the light switch. His hand slowly searched for something to use as a weapon but all he could find was the tv remote. "You better get out of my apartment before I call the cops..." he said trying to sound confident but his voice broke slightly.

Jason changed just enough for his voice to be different. His king was teaching him in the ancient art of changing halfly. He didnt master it yet, but atleast his voice changed. "The cops?" He laughed. "I doubt you'll manage to get to the phone before I manage to make this room messy with your blood. All I want is what you have around your neck, human." He growled deeply.

"What?" Benjamin said sounding confused as he raised a hand to his neck. It touched the chain of the necklace and he pulled it out from under his shirt, looking down at the rings in the dark. He wants this? he thought finding this odd. But none the less Benjamin wasn't prepared to give up the only thing he had from his family."You can't have it." He suddenly looked up towards the stranger as he went over what he had said. "Human? What does that mean? Are you saying your not human?"

Jason laughed. "Who knows? Maybe I'm a demon, maybe your nightmare." He said with his dark, growling voice. "I wont harm you, all I want is the necklace." He took a few steps closer. "And dont even think of trying to hit me with anything, that will only make your chances of surviving very small.." He sat down in a chair. "So, your life for the necklace, boy."

Benjamin slowly slid along the couch away from the seat that Jason had sat in, his fingers still curled round the chain. "You can't have it." he said stubbornly. "It has no great value but it means a lot to me..." His other hand slowly wrapped round the tv remote then with two quick movements, he launched it across the room at the stranger and pushed himself from the couch. He ran stumbling often, towards his bedroom in hope of getting out onto the fire escape.

Jason let out a large growl when he got the tv remote in his face. He snarled and tried to grab Benjamin, but missed by just an inch. Then he got up and ran after the boy, trying to grab his slieve.

Benjamin snatched his arm from Jason's grip and with a final stumble got to his bedroom and slammed the door shut. He ran to the window and gasped loudly when he realised there was a large rusted lock on the outside preventing his escape. As a last effort he began rushing round the room in search of something heavy enough to smash the window.

Jason tried to open the door. When he understood it was locked, he took a few steps back, and then ran into it with his shoulder. He did this several times, hoping the door would open. "Open the door, boy! This stupid behavios will only delay your death!" He snarled.

"I'm not going to open the door to the guy who wants to kill me!" Benjamin shouted back. He grabbed a book from his book and threw it at the window but it just bounced back. Nothings going to break this window... he thought nervously as he glanced at the door.

Jason calmed down. "Open the door, and I wont kill you.." He said calmly. "Dont you understand anything? Oh, god.. you humans are so stupid.." He shook his head. "All I need is that damn necklace, and you'll never see me again!"

"But I don't want to give it to you." Benjamin replied as he admitted defeat against the window and sat down on his bed. "This is my necklace...its the only thing I have from the family I never knew." He sighed and stood walking to the door and flicked the lock then returned to where he sat on the bed.

Jason heard the door getting unlocked, and opened it. "I know you dont want to give it to me. But if I dont return with it, my superior will be most displeased." He entered the room, his eyes watching Benjamin. "And I'd rather have me getting it, than him. He would not hesitate one second with killing you. I dont usually go after humans, I dont hunt down weaker prey."

"There you go again with the human thing...what are you?" Benjamin replied curiously as he wrapped his hand round the two rings on the end of the necklace still determined that no one was getting their hands on it.

"Well, certainly not human.." Jason laughed slightly. "How much do you know about the war going on?" He asked, wondering if this human were one of those who didnt know about the other races living side by side with him.

"War?" Benjamin said looking at him strangely then suddenly stood up. "Your not friends with the guy who practically kidnapped me out of here the other night and told me vampires were after me are you?" he said quickly. "He talked about my necklace as well..." His eyes widened. "Are you a vampire?"

"Who kidnapped you..?" Jason raised an eyebrow. "I'm no vampire.. I dont like them one bit." He took a few steps closer. He didnt look much like himself, he was abit more hairy, and he had some sharp canines.

"This guy...I think he would have been classed as a hunter." Benjamin said feeling a little strange for saying that. "He said he was protecting me from the vampire girl who had managed to get into my apartment. He tried to explain a few things to me...but i didn't want to hear it. The girl manages to follow us and brought me home, gave me this ring to." He said unclasping his hand slightly and glancing down at the newest ring on the chain. He looked up at Jason and smiled slightly. "Don't tell me...I have vampires after me and what, now your a werewolf after me to." he said the laughed slightly thinking it ridiculous.

"Well.." Jason walked over so that the boy could see him better. "You're right.. I'm a wolf." He let his sharp teeth show, just for fun.. and to see how Benjamin reacted. "You see, human, you arent the only intelligent species on this planet.."

Benjamin could feel himself shrink away from Jason when he saw the fangs. "This isn't happening..." he whispered as he tried to move slowly away from Jason.

"It is.. there are vampires, elves and wolves out there.. and humans ofcourse. We all are supposed to hate each other, and kill each other. But some humans doesnt know about the other races, dont know why though. I guess it's a way of protecting yourselves." Jason shrugged. "You should be carefull with going out in the evening, the vampires are the worst.. they drink your blood, and you're alive for a long time.. we, the wolves, only kill humans when you're in the way and such. And we usually do it rather quickly." He gave Benjamin a small smile.

"Is that supposed to make me feel better...that if i'm killed by a werewolf at least it'll be quickly?" Benjamin replied, his hand still wrapped around the necklace. "Your still not getting it..." he said more quietly now. "I don't care who you are...you'll have to drag me down to your superiors as well because i'm not letting this go..."

Jason sighed heavily. "Very well then.." He walked over to Benjamin and grabbed his arm. "Ready to go?" He looked down at the human. Such a pity, he was actually willing to die for a necklace. Jason had never really understood humans. They made so strange sacrifices...

"Wait, what?" Benjamin said staring down at Jason hand round his arm. He didn't think Jason would take him seriously. "I wasn't being serious...." he said as he tried to pull his arm free but with not much success.

"So, you're giving me the necklace then?" He looked down at the boy, and let his arm go. Jason knew that this human wouldnt get away from him, so it wasnt any point in holding his arm.

"No." Benjamin replied even more stubbornly, enough to have anyone get angry at him. His grip tightened round the necklace as he pulled the arm that Jason had held close to his body.

Jason sighed. "Why do you want to die for a stupid necklace?!" He asked, pretty annoyed. "It's just a necklace!" He looked at Benjamin. "Go buy yourself a new one..."

"I grew up in an orphanage, never knowing who my family were...the only clue I have is this." Benjamin said looking down at the necklace in his hand. "This necklace was left with me from my family, its the only thing I have from them, and i'm not about to give it up." he finished looking up at Jason. "Surely that makes you understand why I don't want to give it up."

"Maybe you should just come with me?" Jason suggested. "I know someone who has a similar one.." He sat down on the floor, leaning his back against the wall.

"Really?" Benjamin said looking up at Jason now with sudden interest. If they have the same necklace as me maybe they knew my family..." he thought to himself. "O....ok. I'll come along...but that doesn't mean i'm giving it to you."

Jason nodded. "It's ok.. maybe he just wants to find out more, like you.." He shrugged and looked at Benjamin. He lazily got up. Yes! He was going to deliver the necklace to his King! He gave the boy a little smile.

Benjamin glanced at Jason as he slipped on his shoes then stood to get his jacket. After he had put it on he turned to Jason. "Alright let's go then...i'm only going to meet this person then i'm leaving...got that?"

Ryan sat on the rooftop, eating his bacon and chicken cheddar sandwitch.... a revolver tucked neatly into his belt, he had been watching ben's place.. but he didn't have the gaul to make a move... that guy was retarded.

Michael looked around, they were close to the church. He wondered if Kitty had overslept or something. He didnt say much on the way to the church. When they finally could see it, he speeded up. "I hope she's there.." He mumbled.

"As do I." Takara replied but knew the chances of that were slim. She walked on, speeding up whenever Michael did as well.

Aiden followed both of them, keeping silent.

Michael entered the silent church. "Kitty?!" He shouted, and a priest walked over to him and told him he couldnt shout in the church. Michael just hissed at him and grabbed his arms. "Where's Kitty?" He growled.

"Yes...I suggest you tell us right now where she is." Takara said threateningly as she walked up behind Michael, adjusting her gloves.

Aiden held back, but managed to look just as threatening by just leaning on the doorway and inspecting her nails.

"She.. I.." the priest said. "I dont know.. she left hours ago! She said she'd come back and pray with us, but she never did.." He answered. He had promised Kitty not to tell about the man she had had in her room that day. He kept his promise ofcourse.

Michael sighed. "Ok, I guess we'll have to go out to look for her then..Did she say where she went?" He still helt the priest. The priest shook his head, no he had no idea.

"Alright. I guess we'll have to go look for her." Takara replied but as she did she stepped up in front of the priest. "But if there is anything you aren't telling us...anything at all, you will have me to deal with." she growled then turned and walked out.

The priest nodded scared. "Ofcourse, ma'am." He said, and looked at Michael who was still holding him. Michael let go of the priest and followed the Queen. He kept looking around, to see if there were anything that could lead them to Kitty.

Aiden followed the two of them outside, automatically looking around for clues of Kitty's disappearance, despite her initial reluctance.

Michael followed his Mother, and kept looking for something, anything, that could lead them to Kitty. He tried to sniff out if she had been hurt, but couldnt smell her blood. The only blood he could smell, was of a wolf or some kind of animal.

"This is very frustrating..." Takara said angrily. "I thought we would have had some sort of lead...but it seems she has simply vanished." She stopped and punched the wall on a rundown shop, leaving an indentation of her fist.

"No, we have to keep looking. Mother, it's Kitty. She has to be here somewhere. Let's go downtown. Maybe we can find someone or...something.." Michael paused. "Mother, someone has to know something.."

"Yes your right. If we have to tear this whole city apart to find her...we will." Takara replied as she straightened up, looking at Michael and Aiden.

"We would cover more ground if we split up," Aiden suggested lightly.

Michael nodded. "Yeah, we could. But it's dangerous. With the new wolfking, things are worse. " He sighed.

Aiden looked at the queen for her decision.

Takara gave a small nod then sighed. "Michael and Aiden, I want you's to go together, my guard and I will go another way. If we split into two teams we'll cover more ground."

Michael nodded. "Yes, my Queen." He said and turned to Aiden. "Let's try to find her.." Then he gave his Mother a slight bow.

"Alright," Aiden said and inclined her head to the queen before turning back to Michael. "Which way?"

"Be careful." Takara said to Michael and Aiden then turned and walked off, her guard following close behind her.

Michael looked at Aiden. "I guess downtown. Maybe someone has seen something there." He said, speeding up.

"Alright," Aiden said easily and followed him, but inside she was worried. The chances of anyone, especially humans, having seen anything of any significance were slim. But perhaps the queen, with her connection to the princess, would have better luck.

After about 10 minutes walk, Michael turned to Aiden. "Somehow I feel that we wont find her. I hope the Queen will.." He said as they walked by a little group of humans. He lowered his voice. "I doubt these zombies knows anything at all..."

"Should we question the priest again? He was the last to see her, and he might have forgotten something..." Aiden trailed off, not looking too convinced about her own theory, but anything was better than aimlessly wandering the streets of the town, and watching Michael become more and more worried for every minute they failed to find anything.

Michael nodded. "I guess.. maybe he was lying.. if he were lying, I swear it'll be the last thing he ever does.." He growled and turned back the way they came.

Aiden wrinkled her nose. "Priests don't usually make very good meals," she commented, dislike evident in her voice. "Too... holy."

Michael grinned. "I was actally thinking of hanging him from the church spear.." He grinned. "But.. I guess Kitty would be furious if she found out.."

"If he had anything to do with her disappearance, I'd say your little spitfire princess would be as happy to see him hanging as you," Aiden smiled wryly.

"I guess she would, but I cant really hang him unless I have enough evidence to show that he's lying." Michael could see the spire in the distance. "Let's just hope he was lying."

"That eager to hang someone, huh?" Aiden grinned, deliberately misinterpreting his words to try to lighten the mood a little.

"Yeah, it's been a while since I saw a good hanging.." Michael smiled. He glared at some people who were looking at them. He knew he looked different from normal people. But over the years he had gotten used to it. "Maybe we should hang one of those, just for fun."

"That would be fun..." Aiden mused, cocking her head to the side a little. "But a pity to waste all that warm, delicious blood." She gave the humans a slow smirk that let them know they were definitely being talked about, even if they couldn't hear the words.

"We could drink them dry, and then hang them?" Michael suggested. "Atleast that'll scare the living hell outta the rest of the humans.. " He shrugged and then smiled.

"Why good Sir, I think that sounds like an excellent idea!" Aiden proclaimed, grinning broadly as she imagined all the terrified little humans. "We should definitely do that someday."

"That's a deal then.." He grinned and opened the big church door, waited for Aiden to enter before he himself walked into the church.

Aiden slipped in before him and started walking down the aisle, looking for the priest.

The priest was busy with some candles in the left corner. Michael noticed him and walked up to Aiden. "There he is..." He said, wondering why Kitty allways wanted to be here.

Aiden walked quickly over to the priest, making her steps as silent as possible. When she was standing right behind him she poked him on the shoulder, an almost feral grin on her face.

The priest jumped out of shock, his heart beating so fast he thought it'd stop. As he turned, he saw Aidens face. "Oh! You scared me, child. What can I do for you?" His voice were shaking.

"I am a..." Aiden hesitated slightly, a vague look of distaste flickering on her face before disappearing again. "A friend of Kitty's." She continued, the lie flowing smoothly off her tongue. "And I believe you know more about her disappearance than you told the queen," she smiled sweetly, her eyes glinting as a small knife suddenly appeared in her hand. "Want to tell me what you know?"

"wh..what?" The priest tried to back away, but Michael suddenly stood behind him. He crashed into him. Michael smiled. "Tell us what you know, and noone will get hurt." He said, reassuringly. The priest looked at Aiden, then at Michael and back again. "I..She.. I dont know anything else!"

"Aww, sweetling, if we believed that we wouldn't be here, now would we?" Aiden said conversationally, absentmindedly playing with the knife in her hands.

"Well, I.." The priest was shaking. "I wouldnt lie, you know Kitty's a very important person for the church, for us!" He tried to get out of Michaels grip.

"Yet you hesitated," Aiden grinned triumphantly. "But I believe you, I don't think you lied... but I don't think you've told us the entire truth either," she added, narrowing her eyes.

The priest shook his head. "No, I.." He stopped talking as a group of monks walked by. Michael tightened his grip, hurting the priest now.

Aiden waited until the monks had passed, before giving the priest a long, hard look. "Tell me the truth. The entire truth."

"But.." He was shaking heavily. "I.." The priest sighed deeply. He knew they knew he was lying. "Come with me..." He said, and Michael let him go. The looked at them both, before heading for a door a few feet away from them.

Aiden glanced at Michael and smiled before following the priest.

Michael gave Aiden a little nod, and followed them. The priest opened the door and lead them into a little room with some chairs and a table. He lit some candles and sat down in one of the chairs. "please, sit.." He offered them.

Aiden sat down gracefully and crossed one leg over the other, looking expectantly at the priest.

Michael sat down, waiting for the priest to tell them what he knew.

The priest coughed. "Well, your friend came here to stay for the day. She does that alot, I think she find the church comforting. We had some tea, and she asked if she could borrow a sofa to sleep on. Ofcourse we let her sleep here. She left just after sundown. I saw this strange looking man follow her." He paused. "He looked strong. I dont know if there's a connection between the two of them. I hope he didnt kidnap her. She's such a wonderfull person."

Aiden glanced at at Michael, wanting to see if he immediately thought 'werewolf' the same way she did.

Michael looked at Aiden. "We have to hurry. Let's go find the Q..eh.. Takara." He got up. "Thank you for the information." He said to the priest, then hurried out.

Aiden followed Michael and soon she was practically running down the aisle, throught he door and out into the city. "How will we find her?" She asked anxiously.

"The Queen will know where to look." Michael said shortly as they ran. "She'll know what to do!" He slowed down abit, focusing on his Mother. He knew she would feel him.

"I meant the Queen, dammit! How will we find the Queen?" Having only been a vampire for ten years, Aiden still wasn't completely used to all their ways, especially not in a time of crisis.

"She's my mother, she can feel me.." He walked now, concentrating very hard on getting a connection to the Queen. It was as if he said her name out loud in his head.

Aiden, feeling somewhat lost without anything to do, just followed him, keeping an eye on their surroundings.

Takara stopped her pacing when she felt the connection with Michael strengthen indicating he was looking for her. She closed her eyes and imagined her surroundings in her mind, in hope that Michael would recognise them and find her.

Michael closed his eyes. "I think I know where she is.." He said, looking at Aiden. "Let's go!" He said as he speeded up again.

Aiden followed him readily, her long legs aiding her in the run towards the queen.

After about 15-20 minutes they could see the Queen. "Mother!" Michael bowed slightly. "We have news." He glanced over at Aiden. "And hopefully it'll help us find Kitty. " He paused, waiting for Aiden to say whatever she had in mind.

"What news have you got for me?" Takara asked when Michael had stopped in front of her.

"She was followed by a man," Aiden said, breathing hard. "We think a werewolf."

Michael didnt know what more to say. He had no idea what to do. He looked at the Queen, hoping she had a good idea.

"I was hoping they wouldn't be involved. But if they have something of ours, then its up to us to take it back. Ian is on his way for reinforcements...we'll get her back tonight." Takara replied.

Just then Ian arrived back with three other vampires. "My Queen," he said and gave a small bow. "These were the only ones left at the school, the others are out hunting."

Michael looked at his Mother. "Let's go then.." He nodded. He figured they didnt have alot of time. Maybe Kitty were tortured right now. He shivered, hoping they either let her be or killed her quickly.

Takara nodded then began walking drawing her blade as she did. "Our main goal is to get Kitty out and get her to safety as quickly as possible, I want no one getting caught up fighting a werewolf because they feel like it, is that understood?" she said to the vampires behind her.

"My Queen, might I suggest keeping the blade hidden for as long as possible," Aiden murmured. "Trouble with scared humans will only slow us down."

Takara glanced over her shoulder then gave a small nod. "Yes, you are right." she said then resheathed her blade as she walked on.

Takara walked slowly through the streets, glancing round for any signs of Kitty. "This is not going well..." she said looking back at her guard as she stopped.

The guard, Ian, gave her an apologetic look. "I am sorry, my Queen, I do not know of any other way."

"It is not your fault..." Takara replied as she pushed her long white braided hair behind her shoulder. "I hate feeling this helpless...it is not good for a queen to feel helpless Ian..."

Ian nodded his assent. "Very true, ma'am, but in certain circumstances, I believe even a queen is allowed to concentrate on just being a mother."

Takara looked at him then nodded as a hint of fear crept over her face. "I hate not knowing where she is...what if she is hurt? Or..or trapped somewhere..." She leant her back against the wall and stared up at the sky. "I will kill any who I find out is involved in her disappearance."

"And I will help you," Ian vowed in his steady, low voice. "But first we have to find the princess. Can you feel her at all?"

Takara closed her eyes, searching one last time for Kitty. Her eyes snapped open and she suddenly smiled. "I can feel her connection...its faint but its there...I just have to try and follow it. Let's go!" she said then closed her eyes again and began walking as if following an invisble trail.

As his queen walked as one blindfolded, Ian followed her closely, twice as aware of their surroundings as before, if that's even possible.

"Her trail is getting stronger..." Takara replied feeling relieved that she may find Kitty soon but not realising that soon she could be walking into werewolf territory.

Ian too noticed the dirction the trail was taking them and he paused, his hand briefly touching the queen's shoulder to make her stop as well. "Perhaps we should call for reinforcements?" He suggested, a small crease on his forehead.

Takara opened her eyes at Ian's touch of hand on her shoulder. She looked round her then frowned. "This is starting to become worse than I had feared..." she muttered as the scent of werewolf was strong in the air. "Yes...reinforcements would be good...I will wait here. If I leave I may loose the trail. Go fetch the others and gather more from home." she said looking at Ian.

"Finding Aiden and Michael might take too long, I'll fetch those who stayed home first," Ian decided, anxious to find the princess before the queen lost the trail.

"Go. I'll be fine here..." Takara said then gave him a gentle shove in the direction of their home. "Gather as many as you can."

"I'll be quick," Ian promised, before taking off at a run back towards the school.

"How do you suggest we do it? We dont know anything about their place." Michael sighed. "We have no idea where they keep her, how many guards they have....nothing." He looked at both Aiden and the Queen.

Aiden had no clue, so she looked to the queen as well.

Takara stopped and gazed up at the sky. "You are right. We know nothing about them and it would be quite foolish for us to rush in. Has anyone got any suggestions?" she asked suddenly looking round.

Michael looked at Aiden, then at Takara and then at the rest of the vampires. "Uhm..." He said, thinking hard.

"We could send a lookout ahead, as a start?" Aiden suggested feebly, not really feeling like she had much to contribute with.

Takara nodded. "Yes that would be a good idea." She replied as she looked at Aiden. "I do not want to pick anyone who is unwilling, so is there anyone willing to go as a scout or shall I go instead?" she looked round the group of vampires.

"I guess I can go." Michael nodded. He didnt just want to be here. "Who wants to go with me..?"

Aiden looked around and the rest of the gang, but when no one seemed inclined to volunteer, she sighed dramatically. "I guess I could do it," she drawled, inspecting her nails.

Takara smiled at both of them. "Thank you, both of you. Now all I want you to do is see how good their defences is. I do not want you entering their home and trying to be heroic, got that?"

Michael nodded. "ofcourse, mother." He said waitign for Aiden to answer Takara to.

"Yes, my Queen," Aiden murmured, inclining her head.

Michael looked at Aiden. "Let's go then.." He said short, and then headed for the wolves lair.

Aiden followed him, all her senses alert and ready to fall back at the slightest hint of an attack from the wolves.

Marina woke up early and looked at her alarm clock, jumping out of the bed when she noticed she had overslept and only had half an hour before she needed to be at work. Running around the small loft, she quickly got showered and dressed, throwing together a quick sandwhich to eat on the way. She grabbed her purse and hurried out the door, reaching the small bakery with just minutes to spare.

Jason was allready there, watching the people who were eating their meals. He wondered who would be his meal. He smiled faintly, feeling slightly tired.

Marina hurried into the bakery and waved at the elderly lady behind the counter, too focused on the task at hand to notice any of the customers. "I'll be right out," she called, heading for the backroom where she put down her purse and quickly tied on an apron before taking her place behind the counter. The elderly lady smiled at her and headed back to the kitchen as Marina manned the counter.

Jason yawned big and stretched. He had found his prey, a 17 year old girl. She was thin, he didnt think she was very strong. Luckily, he was way too tired to fight with his prey now. He watched her closely as she ate her last meal.

Marina glanced around the room to assess the customers, and recognized Jason from the bar and then the grocery store. He was staring intently at a young girl, and Marina grinned to herself, suspecting a small crush in the works. She was about to give him a small wave, but a customer just walked in the door and took all her attention until he was safely seated by the window with a coffee and a blueberry muffin. Having put the money into the cash register, Marina glaced back at Jason to see if he was going to talk to the girl, or just look at her.

Jason kept his eyes on the girl, hoping she was quick with her meal. He watched her closely, his eyes narrowing. He looked hungry. Jasons eyes darkened. She was so slow!

Looking at the way Jason eyed the girl, Marina started to reasses her first assumption. The way he looked at her didn't resemble an innocent crush. He looked, well, annoyed. Almost angry, and something else she couldn't quite put her finger on. A lover's spat perhaps? But no, then they wouldn't come to eat in the same bakery, would they? Her curiosity peaked, Marina continued watching surreptitiously while doing some light work such as rearranging the displays and whiping the counter.

Suddenly the girl got up, and grabbed her bag. She headed outside. Jason got up and waited untill she was outside. Then he went outside, following her closely, but from a distance.

Marina pouted a little at not being able to continue watching the imagined drama, but threw herself into her work, yearning for the day to be finished so that she could get out. When her shift was over, she cleaned up and waved goodbye to her co-worker, before grabbing her purse and heading for the grocery store to pick up a frozen pizza, as she wasn't in the mood for cooking.

Jason was on his way to the school, when he saw Marina leave the grocery store. He pretended to walk right into her. "Oh! I'm so sorry!" He said, then looked at her. "Oh, hi.." He smiled.

Marina almost lost her balance when something barged into her, and she grabbed the first thing she could to keep herself on her feet, which happened to be Jason's arm. Looking up, she noticed who it was and gave a little laugh. "Oh, hello, you startled me," she smiled, letting go of his arm.
