Poem's Title: Closing Your Eyes
Poem:
Do not close your eyes on me
Do not give up on life that you
clung to with all your might.

Hold tight to your love
to the life that you
hold onto so dear,

Do not close your eyes

Your once green eyes
Trun to a stormy shade
of gray as your tire.

Wiery of the life that
has claimed so much
and given all the more.

Please
Do not close your eyes

Dream your dreams
as the days trun to
dust,

Do not give so silently
not to fight as you have
done all your life.

Do not close your eyes

Poem's Title: The Fairy Jubilation
Poem:

Deep into the forest,
Down past the trees,
Is the fairy jubilation.
No longer captives,
Free little nymphs,
Dance in celebration.

Deep into the forest,
Down past the trees,
Past the fairy jubilation.
Still remain captives,
Three little nymphs,
Long to be part of the celebration.

Adella, the youngest,
With ankles chained,
Cries out in fear,
“Save me!” she cries,
“Let me go free!”
Her captor hears her cry.
A snap of her neck,
A short pixie scream,
Adella lives on no longer.

Deep into the forest,
Down past the trees,
Past the fairy jubilation.
Still remain captives,
Two little nymphs,
Long to be part of the celebration.

Erek, the eldest,
Bound and gagged,
Struggles to be set free.
He kicks and he moans,
“Let me go free!”
His captor hears his cry.
A slash of his wrist,
A short bloody scream,
Erek lives on no longer.

Deep into the forest,
Down past the trees,
Past the fairy jubilation.
Still remains captive,
One little nymph,
Longs to be part of the celebration.

Ty, the forgotten,
With clippen wings,
Wishes to not be alone.
She weeps in her sorrow,
“Let me go free!”
No one hears her cry.
Fairy suicide,
A knife to her heart,
A short pixie wail,
Ty lives on no longer.

Deep in the forest,
Down past the trees,
Past the fairy jubilation.
None remain captive,
Three little nymphs,
All massacred,
Never to be part of the celebration.

Poem's Title: Ode To Coffee
Poem:

With trembling hands I grasp my cup
Of pitch black molten liquid
I sip it through my thirsting lips
And burn my insides with it

I singe the nerves within my mouth
The pain is just bizarre
But still the joy of moccaburns
Is greater then you are!

Poem's Title: In this Box
Poem:

This little box
contains the key
to many hopes united,
to goals and schemes
and plans and dreams,
to courage, strength, and pride.
For if you'll jest believe
in all the things you're hoping for,
Belief will be the very key
that opens up the door……
And every time you look in here
to find your precious key,
Please know
I wish you all you need
to live successfully!

Poem Category: To Make You Think
Poem's Title: Zech
Poem:
Zech cried out frantically,
A knife stabbed through his heart.
"Save me!" he shouted,
But they all passed by.
One girl stopped,
But didn't acknowledge his cry.
She sat down,
Talked with Zech,
But did she notice?
Did she see that he was bleeding to death?
She smiled his way,
She heard what he said,
But she didn't listen to what was going through his head.
She walked away,
Left him to die.
Not a look,
Not a word,
Not even goodbye.
