2002-2006

Toru died last september 26th, 2006. Good luck in the path you have just began, Toru. You must be being a spoiled kitty with grandma now. I know you will be waiting for me; be a good kitty, as you were with me. And be sure I'll never forget the most wonderful eyes I've ever seen. So, bye, my Toru... my little baby. [Moluco]


Toru McCavity is Mendigo's big brother. [Moluco] brought them from a friend's house. He's cute and charming, I think he's quite aware that he's the older male and so, he have so much responsibility taking care of the other cats. Even with that, sometimes he can be very rude too, specially with his sister Kenji... they hit each other until one of them runs for its life!

He won the title of Cutest cat in the shire!

His eyes are a bit twisted, like those of a siamese cat. I don't know why, he looked a lot like a siamese when he was younger... perhaps his father was a siamese.



His name comes from two different sources... first, Toru is the name of a character from the Slam Dunk anime. McCavity is the name of the bad cat in the musical play Cats. We usually call him just Toru, or Toribio, just to make a nickname for him.



He loves to climb trees... he's the best in that! All the kitties that arrives home, learn from him the subtle art of climbing. He's so nice to teach, because he waits for them, and allows them to even hit him while they are practicing. Now all of them know how to jump to the rooftop thanks to him ^_^
