Tribute To Steve Irwin



Okay so I'm not very good at making wikis, but Steve Irwin (aka The Crocodile Hunter) was my greatest idol, and I felt that I had to do something in his memory, regardless of how small and meaningless it is.

Steve was one of the world's foremost figures in wildlife preservation. He loved the creatures that he studied and would have given anything for them. He loved to help the world learn and to help other people love wildlife like he did.

Steve Irwin was an amazing person. A loving husband, a great father, and a very good friend.

1. [Emo Saga] I'm more Emo now than I was before. His death has literally taken a toll upon my heart. I idolized him, and watched his shows with great respect for the man. He has tought me a lot, and he was a great personality. My love goes out to him and his family.

2. [Erubeus] Well theres not much I can say about Steve except that he was and still is a great role model. I actually started to cry when a tribute program came on animal planet about him...I wish him lots of luck in the after life and salute him for all he stood for.

3. [Entropy] He was a very good man. He deserves all the respect and admiration he can get, and then some. I'm extremely sadened to know that such a wonderful person is no longer here to share his love of wildlife with the world. He will never be forgotten.

4. [Kai Crewger] I know we all remember with fondness Steve Irwin and his crazy stunts as we grew up. His catchphrase always stuck in our heads, and no matter how much we complained we all knew that he wasn't really that annoying. Rest in peace, Mr. Irwin sir. We'll all miss you.

We are the last generation who will jokingly stalk behind our friend and say 'Crikey, I'm here observing this here RARE species.'. Maybe it wasen't with your friend, but we've all done it at one time. He will be dearly missed. <3

13. [Vou] -sigh- I don't know where to begin really... I do know that I liked him a lot more then Jeff Corwin, haha, but... I actually loved seeing his show on television. I think the only reason I know so much about snakes (my second worst fear) and Crocodiles is because of him. Like [Erubeus], I cried during the tribute to him and I didn't know about Robert until that tribute. I felt terrible when I heard of his death, I was just quiet. I didn't cry until that tribute though... and because of him, I'm going to pursue my career in zoology as well. Like Steve protecting and helping his favorite animal, I'm going to do the same for mine. The wolf. R.I.P. Steve. <33
