Tychus won't show up until towards the end of the story. This dragon, like several other characters, isn't far past his teen years, and makes up for inexperience with a spectacular exuberance. Always ready and willing to help, not afraid to make some mistakes, and also the only one naturally enabled with flight (hint hint), he's a major help for his team.
The dragon colony from which he comes is closely tied with a group of warrior mages who will play a vital role in Inari's quest more than once. They have a symbiosis established; the dragons provide transportation and labor, and they in turn provide them with a share of their profits, as well as teaching them.
Tychus isn't fully trained in combat, but being a quick and reckless learner, it doesn't phaze him much. His spellwork is relatively minor, consisting mostly of augmentation spells to increase his speed, strength, and even to cast an armor-like coating of metal magically over any part of his body. However, the dragons of this world aren't naturally enabled to breathe fire, and he leaves with Inari's group before learning how.

2005-04-24 [AnubisX32]: nice drawing! I learned a couple of tricks just by looking at it! you should make a comic. It would be a mix of your exceptionall artwork and amasing writing abillity.

2005-04-25 [AnubisX32]: yea. i've tried drawing one, too. It's really annoying! The details on my characters are never in the same place (different sized armor, different patterns, etc.)
