Welcome to District 11
The one thing worse than the streets themselves,are the people who walk them...
It was just before noon and in any other district the city would be flowing with people going about their lives...but this was district 11. No one here had a life that was going anywhere, yet here Alex was trying to live his life with his brothers and mother. Brothers of which his mother had sent him to check on.
Lucille had been on edge since they entered town, despite his famine frame he was trying his best to look strong and intimidating to anyone who looked at him or Sayomi wrong... Which meant pretty much everyone they passed especially the men. It didn't seem to do much, if anything it seemed to amuse the people.
"Something wrong Lucille?"
Sayomi asked, she turned to look at him when she heard a man chuckle as they passed by.
"I don't like this place... It's full of walking trash."
Lucille replied shoving a man how was oogling Sayomi out of the way.
"I don't like it either, it smells like it's full of trash as well."
Sayomi said, she ignored the man Lucille shoved as he yelled at him.
"I'm not sure if we should even bother trying to find a place to stay."
Lucille sneered. He moved slightly as two frightened young boys ran past followed by two older, frightening ones.
Sayomi raised a brow as the boys ran past them, "Perhaps you're right, this place does seem very troublesome."
"You're call, stay the night here or spend yet another night traveling and sleeping on rocks."
Lucille replied stepping into an empty ally so they could talk in peace. It was a little cramped but much better then the street they were just on since it was only them.
Sayomi sighed softly, "Well, I suppose it would be slightly better than sleeping on the ground or on rocks, but probably only slightly." She said, a rat ran across her shoe, with a swift motion she scooped it up and held it up by the tail. "What do you suppose I should do with this?"
"From the looks of this town we might be able to sell as food."
Lucille replied half joke.
"Perhaps I could have some fun and hide it in someones food, or in their clothes?"
Sayomi said, she half smiled at the idea of making someone scream in terror.
"That might give us a few chuckles."
Lucille replied giving the first small smile since they had entered they town.
Sayomi broke the rat's neck, then looked around for someone who wasn't paying attention to their food or and open window.
There was an open window just a little ways down the ally from them.
A devilish grin spread on
Sayomi's face when she saw it, she made sure no one could see her before climbing up to the window, inside she saw a woman fast asleep, she set the rat on fire before tossing it on the bed next to the woman and dropping back down to the ground.
Lucille raised an eyebrow as he heard the blood curdling scream. "Was the fire necessary?" He asked making sure to keep his voice low.
"Yes, it makes it more fun."
Sayomi said, she laughed a soft, evil laugh as she saw the rat fly out the window and thuds coming from the open window, probably the woman trying to put out the fire.
Lucille gave a thoughtful nod before looking around. "Should probably go before people come to see what the fuss is about."
"Yes, that would be best."
Sayomi said, she sighed as she exited the alley.
