Under My Last Moon.


       My Time is short, I cannot tell you the whole story but I want you to know this, I’ve been touched by the immortals, My name is Jake, and my story begins outside of a bar on a cold night.
A full moon was out and I had enough alcohol to not be able to walk home, on the corner of the street I notice a figure following me, so I take a wrong turn down the ally and hide behind a dumpster, The figure walks past me and I walk out.
“Why are you following me?” I ask suddenly completely sober.
“You seem a little bit too alert for being as drunk as you are boy, what’s your name?” The figure asks, a woman.
“Jake, Why do you need to know, and what do you want from me.”
“Well, Jake, I was following you to see if your alright, my name is Jessie.” She replies. “I feel something terrible is about to happen tonight and you have just been caught in the middle.” she crouches down as two figures descend from the roof of the apartments. An Impossible fall for anyone human. She proceeds to pull out a sword and sets up her guard, amazingly enough it’s a perfect guard. I continue to stand their as Jessie says something to the two. “Nice to see you again Tristan, and you as well Tessa. I didn’t realize you were in town.”
“Quit playing the smart ass Jessie you knew damn well we were in town, but I never realized you were desperate enough to enlist the help of a human, a drunk at that.” replies Tristan extremely angrily.
“Hey, I may be drunk, but I still know what’s going on and I know enough to know that your not human, What the hell are you people.” I ask now completely unaware that Tessa has moved next to me.
“Its pretty easy, we are vampires.” She Replies. “And you, well you are dead.” With one swift movement she tries to stab me with her Katana, but I already moved and I hit her full force in the lower ribs and watch as she crumples to the ground.
“Insolent fool!” yells Tristan, “You will pay for this, Im going to kill you slowly and painfully.” Tristan Grabs me in a move that was too quick to follow and in an instant goes halfway up the apartment building and throws me to the spot I had stood a moment before.
“Tristan!!” Screams Jessie, but Tristan and Tessa have already left, thinking they had caused enough mischief for one night. “Hold on Jake, im going to transform you, into one of us.”
“Will it hurt?” I ask. Great I probably sounded like a toddler to her.
“No.” its all she says, as I slip out of consciousness, she bites my neck, then kisses me... Under the moon.
