Unite: Chapter One
Four ships stand at the ready, each one with an astromech droid awaiting the pilots. There are four colors, yellow, red, green, and blue.
Ahsoka pointed to the lone yellow ship. "That's mine. You each can take one of the other colors."
P'yativ strode over to the blue ship and stroked it reverently, clearly having made his choice.
Alina ran over to the red ship, leaping onto the ladder, leaping onto the ship, and landing near the astromech droid. She put a hand on it, then slid into the pilot's seat.
P'yativ swung himself into the cockpit and immersed himself in trying out the controls.
Vic-tus appeared and moved to the only ship left, climbing into the cockpit of the green vessal.
Climbing into her ship,
Ahsoka put on her headset. "Alright, everybody, we're going to autopilot to the hyperdrive rings, then set a course to Shili. Follow me." She started her ship and was gone.
Alina pressed her ignition and followed Ahsoka, a whoop coming from her. "Woo-hoo. Been too long since I was in a starfighter of my own!"
With a start,
P'yativ realized his companions were gone, so immersed in the ship that he hadn't noticed. He anxiously began working the controls, nearly crashing the ship before regaining control and rocketing into the air.
Vic-tus hits the throughtel to follow the others "droid what is your number and modle? oh and take over the Autopilot." "Alina were are we going i was just told to come here with no update?"
Alina made it to her ring and connected with it. "We're headed to Shili. You missed
everything, Vic-tus. Hurry up, P'yativ, or we'll leave you behind." The laughter in her voice was audible even over the headset.
Ahsoka hooked up with her hyperspace ring and laughed. "Is everyone here?"
P'yativ skillfully docked with his ring in contrast to his shaky liftoff. P'yativ grinned and gave a thumbs up at Ahsoka through the cockpit view pane.
Vic-tus locked in with the jumpdrive. "yay yay im here locking in Coordinates, in three, two.. one." hits the jump drive and hangs on for dear life.
Ahsoka took off as well.
Alina looked over at P'yativ, smiled, then hit the hyperdrive.
Cursing at being last again,
P'yativ hastily slammed the hyperdrive into gear and blasted into hyperspace.
The ships come out of hyperspace hovering above a planet.
Alina whistled low. "Would you look at that. Been awhile."
Having taken some unnecessary risks with hyperspace lanes and engine operating limits,
P'yativ managed to pull out of hyperspace next. Before doing anything else, he immediatly began activating scanners and sensors to search for the prescence of any CIS ships.
Ahsoka pulled out of hyperspace and signaled to P'yativ. "To the left, do you see it? Crawling with Droids. But that's not our problem right now."
P'yativ readied his weapons systems. "The droids must have located us by now. If they're not our problem, what is?" he suggested aggressively.
Vic-tus pulls out of hyperspace. "Man theres a lot of work i need to do to this peace of junk...so whats going on......" hears a beep from his scaners. "what are the driods doing here?" *more parts for me*he thinks to him self.
Alina answered P'yativ's question before Ahsoka could. She pointed to a large area of the planet that was covered in dark clouds. "
That is our problem. What is that?"
Ahsoka shot Alina a look. "Would you
stop that?" She glanced at the spot. "That's what they're doing. Driving the Togruta away from the settlements."
P'yativ gaped at the evident destruction below and fired the after-burners to speed his ship and begin entry to the atmosphere.
Ahsoka watched P'yativ for a moment, then quickly made a decision. "P'yativ, you're with Alina. Go north of the cloud. She knows the language and it won't be a problem. I'll stay with Vic-tus. We'll meet in the middle."
Alina nodded at Ahsoka and took off after P'yativ. "Wait for me!" she said as she chased after him.
