“W-what happened?” Dane asked. He watched with the other vampire hunters as their clay dolls crumbled.
“I believe your tracking spell was broken from your vampire pack,” Chris commented.
“Th-that’s not possible!” Dane stuttered in disbelief.
“I’d start believing it if I were you,” Marc faked a smile.
“Somebody intervened,” Dimitri folded his hands into his lap, and shook his head.
“The spell can’t be reversed if the vampire dies. It can only be reversed if they’re not awake,” Dane thought aloud.
“What kind of vampire sleeps?” Roy asked, confused.
Todd snickered a little, “He has a point. I think there was magical intervention.”
“Oh well. We have plenty more puppets and dolls in this collection,” Dane announced.
