The room is neatly decorated, and most recently dusted. It had been a long time since the room had been disturbed, but everything was just as she had left it. The bed was large and covered in fluffy and frilly blankets, and numerous pillows of varying sizes. Along with the standard closet that all the rooms came equipped with, there was a large decorative wardrobe against the far wall.

Jaden came in with Veronica on his arm. "Here we are." he said and flicked on the light with his elbow.

Veronica smiled and leaned against him happily, clutching to his arm. "You're so nice...."

"Yes I know." Jaden said, "Now... you should try to go to the bathroom." he said and led her to the restroom.

"I'll go anywhere you lead me, J..." She whispered softly into his ear. Her stomach gurgled loudly and she hunched over quickly. "Uhh....I..I don't want to..." She mumbled worriedly. She didn't want him to see her puke.

"Woah... come on. Faster." he said and used his knee to open the bathroom door. He flicked on the light and guided her to the toilet. "You have to pee or puke?"

She whimpered and grabbed her stomach. "Hurry...hurry..." She whined, feeling it work its way up her insides. "P..puke....don't watch...please...." She cried pitifully as she fell from his arm to the toilet, she couldn't hold it back any longer.

Jaden obeyed and stepped out, shutting the door but not enough for it to click, "I'm out!"

The second he said it, she cut loose. The sounds that eschewed from the otherside was hardly lady-like at all

Jaden winced and made an unhappy face in her bedroom. His hand scratched at his head then pinched the bridge of his nose.

The toilet flushed after a few more disgusting moments. Veronica rose unsteadily to her feet and moved to the sink. She washed her hands, then worked on washing the stink off her face. There were tears in her eyes, she couldn't believe she'd puked in front of Jaden like that...even though he was technically in the other room...

"You alright?" he asked bumping the door with his heel.

"B..better..." She replied, then brushed her teeth. She clung to the counter as she moved over to the door. She laid a soft hand on his shoulder and smiled. "Thanks, Jaden."

"Don't bother. I just helped you up to your room. I'll see you in the morning, alright? Get some sleep." he said.

"You..you don't have to go, J." She told him and squeezed his arm gently.

"Yes... yes I do. Get some sleep, Ver." Jaden said, taking his arm back carefully.

Her shoulders slumped and she sighed. "I..I just don't wanna be alone right now, J..."

He sighed, wanting to to go his own room, "Fine.. I'll stay a while."

"I'm sorry to be such a bother..." She said sadly, looking down at her feet. She hated feeling like a burden, especially to her friends.

"It's fine. It's not fun being sick. Come on then- get ready for bed." he said, "Sleep would do you good."

"Mhmm..." She said and tried to walk to her wardrobe. Her knees buckled and she weakly fell to the floor, catching herself before she fell flat. "Oh... too fast..."

"Okay... then you sleep in clothes." he said and went to her. "Come on, stop being silly... let's go to bed."

"Not trying to be..." She said as he helped her up. "I had too many..." She said with a pout. The drinks were so tasty, she just couldn't help herself.

Jaden opened her covers when they were to her bedside and helped her in, "Easy...there you go."

Veronica sighed when she felt the coziness of her bed. She placed a hand on his cheek and smiled at him. "You're such a gentleman. C..could you...ummm..well, if you want to that is..." She looked away and then back at him, her bottom lip in her mouth. "Want to cuddle?"

"Jayden will wonder what is taking me." he told her, "I'll sit with you."

Veronica rubbed her eye and then took his hand softly. "Let him wonder." She told him with a smirk.

Jaden let her hold his hand as she lay there. With his other hand, he put the covers over her shoulder.

She snuggled into the covers, moving up against him as he sat there. "There's something bothering you, isn't there?" She asked him carefully.

He sighed, then said reluctantly, "Jay and I don't know how we feel about Eliza's little breakthrough."

"I think it's nice she got it working..." Ver replied quietly. "But there's no guarantee that it'll do what she says, right?"

"Our parents are all dead and they keep pretending everything will be okay and they will magically come back. But they won't!" he said that last bit with bite to his voice.

"Hey now..." She said softly, squeezing his hand. "Can you blame them for clinging to any hope at all?"

"It makes it hard for the rest of us to move on already. We're sick of them bringing up our dead parents as if it could change."

Ver sighed and rolled over so she could look at him. "Come here..." She said softly and pulled him down to her. She wrapped her arms about him and snuggled up against him.

Jaden stiffened at first, then relaxed. A moment later, he wrapped his arms around her too, enjoying the comfort of another as he tried not to get too upset about the subject at hand. "Thanks Ver."

"Shhh..." She whispered and held onto him. She didn't try to do anything suspicious, she simply held him.

Jaden didn't move or do anything funny either. Just... laid there, stuck in her arms. He thought perhaps she needed this too.

Ver did need it, she needed the intimacy more than she needed the alcohol they'd drank at the party. She smiled against him as she snuggled closer. Truthfully, she kind of wished the blanket wasn't keeping him away, but she didn't really trust herself without it being there.

Jaden waited and kept silent in his own thoughts. He was waiting for Veronica to fall asleep so he could get out of there.

She knew he wanted to leave, but she really wished he wouldn't... She curled up against him and clung to him, wishing deeply that he wouldn't leave. "Please stay..."

"I don't feel comfortable staying here with you, Veronica." Jaden told her honestly. With all the shit he and Jayden had gotten over the past year or so, the last thing he wanted to do was crawl into a girls' bed.

Ver pouted a little and looked up at him sleepily. "Not even for just a little while?" She asked him in a small voice. She knew a little bit about what had happened, but it wasn't exactly something anyone was really willing to talk about. She just knew that it felt really nice having him here with her, she wasn't about to do anything, she was too tired for that.

"Go to sleep, Ver." he told her.

"Ok..." She said softly and laid her head down on his arm. She smiled and hugged him.

Ten minutes later when Ver was asleep, Jaden lipped out from under her and left her bedroom to go to his own.
