Waggy Walks is a fundraising event organised by the largest dog rescue in the UK - Dogs Trust. Each year dog owners and dog lovers get their walking shoes on, grab their dogs and walk miles to help raise money for this wonderful charity. Last year alone they raised an astounding £85,000/$130,941

My friends and I have decided that this year we will be taking part! Two of us will be taking our dogs (My German Shepherd Sky and Decks a border terrier/patterdale);

The walk will take place in Margam Park on 03/10/10. If you can help please sponsor us. Any amount will help whether it's £1 or £100. Now I don't know if people outside the UK can sponsor but please try, they can only say no if you can't.

I will be forever grateful and so will the hundreds, possibly thousands of dogs you will help. Please help us create a better life for these beautiful dogs - they all desperately need a forever home. In two days we have raised £24.77 - 25% of our £100 target!! :D I am hoping to donate £30 myself, my mum is adding £20 and I think my sister is going to donate. I'm waiting on a bunch of other people to donate too. THANK YOU!

This wiki got featured! This is the first time I've had a wiki featured and I'm very proud that it's this one. Thank you [windowframe] and everyone else involved in making this happen. I really hope this wiki is seen by a lot more members and I intend to continue adding to this page. You guys rock!!!!

We have now raised £32.77! 33% of our overall target! WOW!!!

We have received our second biggest donation which now takes us to £47.77 - 48% of our target! Can't believe we're almost halfway! Thank you so so much!!!!

If you ever need a reminder why there are so many amazing people doing what they do for this charity look at this beautiful dog. Why?? I've not seen a case of extreme like this for a long while and I am truly sickened by us Brits who call ourselves a dog loving nation. BULLSHIT!!!!!

I think I'm going to be sick. NEVER should a dog look like that. EVER!!!!!!

Today my mother gave me £10 (with another £10 to come) which means we are now up to £72.77 There are only a few days left!!!

Sadly Sky will not becoming on the walk as she came into season on 24/09/2010 :( I am debating whether to take my mastiff or my little collie cross

2 days to go until the big day! We have currently raised £82.77 (£72.77 on the website). I really hope we can hit our target!
