2007-12-16 [Chrysilla]: I recently got a hamster, as Christmas present. He's a little furry cutie named Schumi (after Schumacher), because he likes speed in his wheel :p He doesn't do anything naughty yet, he's still getting used to us, but I'm sure he'll give me lots of things to tell you guys :p

2008-02-21 [coehlo]: I have a hamster called Rolo! She's a really fluffy gentle creature, she's never bitten me, she likes to sleep on my tummy and enjoys nothing more than jumping the from treacherous and dizzying heights of her 2 foot house into the soft saw dust below!

2008-02-21 [Chrysilla]: I was really close of hanging Schumi by his tail and beat him to death last night. For some unknown reason, he was very agitated and made lots of noise. He started by gnawing the plastic tubes of the cage. I woke up and gave him extra food to keep him busy. Ten minutes later he turned his food dish upside down and somehow managed to smash it repeatedly against the cage wall. I woke up again and took it off the cage. Then he did the same with the little special rock he has for nibbling. I took that off the cage too. I wanted to take the water dish too but I told myself he's not stupid enough to overturn that too (given that it's twice its size). Well he did >.< so I took everything off the cage and give him a little hit over the snot to calm him down, but he started running around the cage like a mad hamster. He kept doing it the entire night, and gnaw the cage bars. If he does that again, he's dead I tell you! Grrr

2008-02-21 [coehlo]: My other hamster, cinnamon! Loves to bite her cage and it drives me insane! But I have to admit, when she grabs hold of the bars with her tiny hands and feet, and stares at me as soon as she notices I'm up and angry, I forget I'm mad at her, and blow on her so she falls into the fluff at the bottom of her cage! And she cimbs up again, and tries to bite her way through the bars, by pushing her face into the gaps!

2008-02-21 [Chrysilla]: Schumi puts on his "what, I didn't do anything, it wasn't me" face when I'm next to his cage But sometimes I have to blow on his face to make him stop, because otherwise he'd start all over again 5 minutes after I leave... he's a persistent hamster

2008-02-22 [coehlo]: Cinnamon is a hyper Hammo! She's always sprinting in her wheel, for hours, and hours! I have to take it away! She's very cute though.

2008-02-22 [Chrysilla]: Well, Schumi got his name from Schumacher, for the same reason XD In the beginning, when he first discovered the wheel, he spent all his time in it, running like a mad hamster. I wonder how he managed to get so fat with all the sport he did. XD
About two weeks ago he managed to escape from his cage, came down from the incredible height of 1,5 m (no idea how he did it without smashing his head) and instead of acting like a normal hamster and eat some cables then go get stuck behind a piece of furniture, he played the good boy and came join mommy in bed

2008-02-25 [coehlo]: Cinnamon escaped from her cage too, she managed to bend her tiny squishy fury bodys out of the cleaning tray some how, after munching the handle to pieces!

Well, I found her, about two meters from her cage, in a puddle of pee. Blesh her.

2008-03-02 [Who who]: Hello :) I have two hamsters they are called Snow and Sunny :)!They are two super sweet thingies.They like to run around the house and eat everything especially my books xD!They find them delicious!I got them as a gift for my birthday.They are wife and husband and have 4 children :) - Snow junier(he looks like his father),Cuddly(the most hugable and loving of all),Snugless and Shushy ^^!They like to play acrobatics and jump out of their cage :}!They like to come and sleep on my pellow.They are very playful in the morning while I am searching for my coffee!I love them with all my heart!^^

2008-04-14 [Chrysilla]: Schumi, my sweet little furry Schumi, is dead.
Who's guilty? A surprisingly strong thunderstorm that made his little heart beat way too fast. I hold him in my palms, as he was trembling at all the noises outside, but he kept struggling to escape each time a thunder rolled and made him startle. I kept caressing him with my finger the way he liked to be caressed, until he started making weird noises, something between sneezing and puppy cry. Then he didn't move anymore. His poor heart had given up. They're such sensitive, fearful animals that any shock or strong noise can provoke a heart attack.
I will miss you my little furrball... I will miss you so much.

2010-02-09 [arthemis_]: Mine is called Jojo. She's very shy, doesn't like to be caressed and she is pretty lazy too, because she doesn't do much either. But every morning she waits till she gets some sweets (like cheese) and then she is gone to sleep until like 1 o clock at night. I guess she shares the same hobby as me: sleeping.
